This collection is an expanded selection of 73 mods carefully arranged to enhance your Imperator: Rome. Combining Invictus, Reanimata, and specialized enhancements that work together to create deeper gameplay, more immersive historical content, and quality of life improvements.

Important Gameplay Notes:

  • Order matters! Create your own playset in the launcher and arrange mods exactly as listed in this collection for optimal compatibility.
  • Suggested settings in the beginning of the game: 30 Random Antagonist, 30 Random Lucky, enable after 100 years, no debuff for player, easy buff for ai, fix tribes
  • Annoying notifications? are from the antagonist countries mod set at the beginning. You can turn them off after clicking on the ruler of the country mentioned in the button for reaction to the event and then "disable" has to be visible on the settings when confirming them.

General Tips:

  • Decrease autonomy in non-capital provinces (important!).
  • Remember to use not only omen powers but also ask priests for help to gain good bonuses - found in the religion tab, sun icon.
  • Invest political influence to boost stability growth - these bonuses stack! Check current status and expiration date next to your nation's other bonuses in the nation preview.
  • Move your slaves around to speed up the cultural and religious conversion. You get bonus/minus when there is below/above 50% pops of your culture/religion in the location. I try to have +1 pop of my culture/religion because of growth and migration.
  • Switch your nation's diplomatic stance for the aggresive expansion decay.
  • Change laws as your research progresses.
  • I tend to disable slave promotion because it s easier to manage resources, convert pops and move them around. Also, tribesman are demoting to slaves so you can wait for them to demote and move to the provincial centre for conversion.
  • Invent grand temple and theatre early, increase your research ratio limit.
  • Establish various subject states: client states, mercenary states with high-level military leaders, and especially colonies. Major subjects rework included: they mostly don't use diplomacy slots until they become regional powers.
  • Colonies are super useful. Establishing colony will create a country of your religion and culture and will get extra pops instantly. Colonies don't participate in wars.
  • Reassign captured artifacts to your temples.
  • Revoke holdings from your political opponents.
  • If you need money: sell slaves or use actions in the economy menu, like strong-armed. Don't hesitate to increase taxes for decreased research ratio - in most cases you still will be exceeding the limit. You can also decrease fleet and forts upkeep.
  • If your character leading an army will capture a location with a higher number of pops, you can choose what to do with the pops (in most cases, it s an easy money from the most brutal decision and easier annexing/converting).
  • Optimize your forts - keep them only in the key locations.
  • Increase army's wage during the wartime, it will increase the morale even if it is levy.
  • Use the mass slave management button in the character menu for quick sell.
  • If you need a quick cb: call the war council in the government menu and pray to Tyche for the correct target.
