fyi, the Kuwaiti focus tree is a semi-generic focus tree for all the small gulf states (Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Muhammara, and Muscat; the latter uniquely has its own separate tree in addition to the common one). think of it like the basegame Chinese Warlord focus tree; I wouldn't consider it to be a unique tree in the same way as most others (hence why it's not listed among the "New Focuses" in the mod description).

but yeah it is a shame that Mexico still doesn't have its own unique focus tree yet. I hope it's in the works.

@barneyyumi6 Even if this is bait, I'll bite. Kuwait doesn't have a "whole focus tree", it has a bare minimum (24 focuses; more than half of which are split between a mutual exclusive) to give some functionality to the region. If you're going to complain about Mexico not getting alt-hist, at least compare it to a focus tree that HAS alt-hist.

Granted, it is pretty bothersome that the strait is in the middle of the English Channel strategic region, so you either can't use the region at all or have to deal with your fleet going stupid mode whenever it catches a fleet on the opposite end of the strait. THAT is what I would want fixed; moving the strategic region to be almost completely on the West side of the Dover Strait.

@DemonLordCIPHER that's because of the recently-added Strait of Dover, which blocks passage into the English Channel from the North Sea if you are not at least contesting control. In other words, you can't send your navy in there unless you take Calais.

Im trying to use strike force on my navy as germany but when they go to intercept they try to go all the way around britian to get to the english channel even in i block sea access to the north sea and western a approches they still try to go around and get stuck in the western approches please fix this now! i could easily destroy the british navy if this didnt happen

bro why kuwait get a whole focus tree instead of mexico? seriously, the whole mexican revolution doesnt get priority but freaking kuwait does? mexico had a whole revolution during that period, and this mod gives it a generic focus tree. the amount alt hist mexico could have gotten.

"completely abandon the eastern front" as in they pull ALL of their divisions off of the russian border to stack them all against france (upwards of 30 divisions per tile in some spots; completely excessive) and don't respond when russia starts occupying land.

there's a chance it might be related to me occupying too much german land (i hold the entire west bank of the rhine and am waiting for 1918 to finish them off), but it just seems strange that this can happen in the first place.

if russia is still in the war by the time america joins in (early 1917), the german ai will completely abandon the eastern front to focus on the west, leading them to get capitulated by russia marching into berlin uncontested. this has occurred across multiple of my france games.
