Description
Welcome everyone!

The MTG Navy Overhaul Mod reworks a lot of aspects of Hoi4's naval warfare. At the core of the mod is the new designer that allows far greater customizability for warships. It comes with many new modules and technologies, as well as a completely overhauled doctrine system. For those who are not as familiar with the navy system, the mod features a Handbook that can be accessed while playing which summarizes the most important things and allows easy entrance into the world of Hoi4's navy and this mod.

Designer
The main focus of the mod lies on the designer. It allows the player to choose many more aspects that were vital for ship design in the 1930s and 40s, such as Belt, Deck and Internal Armor, Torpedo Protection, Damage Control Facilities as well as Sensors, Funnel Count and much more.

The weapons and auxiliary equipment are placed directly onto the hull of the ship, allowing for flexible designs and hundreds of different layouts.

Doctrines
The Naval Doctrines have been massively expanded. You can pick and choose whatever you like with almost no limits.

Handbook
A trusty Handbook has been added to the game. It can be used to familiarize yourself with the different roles of ships and nuances of naval combat, as well as offering a quick insight into the things the mod changes from vanilla.
It can be opened near the upper right corner.

...and much more!
Further changes include changed and new Navy Spirits and Technologies, as well as tweaks to Navy Combat and Production.
Capital Ships and Carriers (except for Heavy Cruisers and Escort Carriers) require Heavy Manufacture to be produced.

Dockyards provide 1 Heavy Manufacture each, meaning that depending on your trade law, you can use about 1/3 to 1/2 of your dockyards for capital ships.

When using this mod standalone, Heavy Ships and Carriers still require the "tank workshop" resource from the tank overhaul mod, but no nations seem to have start with any, and I don't see a way to build any. Am I missing something?

No problem, I really have to update the workshop pages sometimes.

Thank you so much. I am sorry if it seemed unreasonably aggravated in my previous comment, but I had spent quite a bit of time trying to find out which mod was causing the issue, and could not find a way to disable the event, and As far as I can tell this was never even mentioned as a feature in the steam page. tbh I never even saw ship commision in the production view.

If you open up the Ship Commission Tab, there should be an option to Auto-Refuse or Accept those events. If that does not work as intended, I will fix it

Is anyone else having an issue where every single month a dozen nations are asking you to build ships for them, and no matter what you say the repeat the event every. single. month. its extremely annoying and makes this mod completely unplayable as there is seemingly no way to disable it nor is it even mentioned as a feature in the mod.

OK, thanks

Does the MOD support KR?

One of the things that's always annoyed me about the sonar modules for subs is that they only give a boost to sub detection and no boost to surface detection.
