[B41/B42] REVIVAL (Alternate Death Mechanics: Revive Your Friends, Live Again)

Description
Alternate Death Mechanics: Revive Your Friends, Live Again
Instead of dying immediately, players enter an incapacitated state where they can be revived by others. Depending on adjustable rules, if left unattended for a certain period, incapacitated players will either recover or die, potentially suffering a loss of skills. Death can still occur if the player receives excessive damage or through standard mechanics such as zombification if such options are enabled.

This mod aims to make death less final and enhances immersion by suggesting that perhaps the virus affects players differently - rather than turning into zombies, they remain fully conscious while their bodies and organs gradually recover to a functional state.

Tips
For best results, perform a Medical Check on a downed player and treat any wounds before attempting to revive them. The revival process can be slow, but players with higher First Aid skills can reduce the time required.

How it works
This mod introduces a state of incapacitation when a player's health falls below a specific threshold. In this state, all standard character actions are disabled. During the UI rendering phase, player health is adjusted to reflect the threshold as 0%, allowing the UI and most third-party mods to display the effective health percentage.

For even better chances of survival, increase 'Incapacitation Health' in your sandbox/server options. This will allow you to withstand larger reductions in damage without dying although it will take less damage overall to down a character. For an easier singleplayer experience, consider also increasing 'Recovery Health' or even 'Recovery removes injuries' to give you a better chance of being able to stay alive after getting back on your feet.

This mod can be added or removed from a game/server at any time.

We are going to do more test about this issue so I can give more info about it, i think is something related to the bleeding. Thank you for the quick answer.

@B1Z4RR0: I can't replicate this issue now but it did happen early in my testing. I changed the way a player was kept alive with injuries to comply with B42's limitations. Still, with the current code, this does not happen during my testing though I'm only testing the server on my local network so I don't know if there's an issue with latency. I don't think the server is the one that determines death though so the client loop should be fine to keep the player alive during incapacitation. Any others with this issue on v1.3.2?

Hello Jaxe, I'm sorry to bother you again, the first aid requirement is fixed, thank you for that. But we're having a problem with players perma dying a couple minutes before they went incapacitated from injuries, it seems like the injuries keep bleeding even after you are all ready incapacitated. We did some test with the mod in different configurations and the only way to quick fix that is to cheked the "recovery heal injuries" option, if you have that unchecked the player dies a couple minutes after they went down, even if they have a lot of time left to revive them

It seems that if you dont have exactly the first aid level required, it doesn't allow you to revive others.
