The Witch

An Unique Offensive Psionic Support Class, though on their own, a Witch is very fragile, these Psionics are capable of Summoning and Commanding Entospecters, and as such, a Witch is rarely ever alone.

Description
Summon an Entospecter, the ghost of a dead Chryssalid, to fight for you.
Melee Attack a Target, and Hex all enemies in a cone behind them, damaging them. Damage increases with Focus points. Additionally, gain Access to Focus and Psionics.
Throw an Explosive Claymore to a Target Location.

Description
Consume an Entospecter to Heal the Witch, and gain a Momentum Action Point that can be used to Reposition or Acquire a Boon.
Enemies can drop Focus Orbs upon Death.

Description
Make a Target Entospecter into a Scapegoat, transferring all direct damage received by Allies in its vicinity to the Scapegoat.
After each Alien in the line of sight takes a turn, interrupt the Enemy Turn to take an Action.
Trap a humanoid in a Psionic prison, immobilizing them, and stealing their health.

Compatibility
This should be compatible with basically every mod that I'm aware of. This is however, a rather experimental mod, and may have occasional bugs. Feel free to report them in the comments section!

Unfortunately this has some major issues, unsure if it's specifically because of the Ted Jam environment or not. I could immediately tell something was wrong when the ability display on the bottom left of the tactical screen was broken, showing just a small null space and nothing else.

Witch does not actually gain any momentum actions after attacking/killing, breaking the class outright.

Focus 1/2 don't accurately spawn the correct Entospecters, sometimes spawning the basic 1HP, sometimes an upgraded 5HP at random. The 5HP doesn't always have the correct stats for damage and hit chance, sometimes it does. Sometimes the 5HP spawns correctly, but after taking a swipe or a turn passes it becomes a 1HP.

Reloading a save while an Entospecter is present breaks the Witch visuals, turning them invisible, and the Entospecter loses its icon in Quick Soldier Info and swaps visuals to the normal Chryssalid texture.

Once it's fixed this should be an AWESOME class, but until then (especially if you're using Ted Jam), avoid this for now.

no matter the amount of focus point my soldier has when summoning, the summon is always a 4HP, 70% chance to hit entospectre. Is that normal ?

Love the mod, but i feel like more could be done with the Entospectre mechanic. summon a small swarm etc. Granted i don't know the first thing about modding but it feels like there's something missing. Also while I like the Clamore addition in theory, it doesn't really fit with everything else. Iunno, maybe it could be replaced with a 'burrow and explode' Entospectre? Again just spitballing ideas if you want to add and modify, the base you have here is excellent.

This mod is very cool and I'm enjoying it, but I am confused about the claymore as a secondary weapon when they don't really have a way to blow it up XD wouldn't a pistol or something make more sense?

for some reason my Witches cannot equip a primary - Gauntlets are unavailable to them. I do have man mods - just not sure which is preventing them have equipping any primary weapon. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved.

Not sure if this is intended. But I had a soldier mind-controlled by a Sectoid, and upon killing the Sectoid with my Witch, that soldier also died.

I only downloaded a couple of cosmetic mods after grabbing this one, so I'm pretty sure it was the Witch causing it.
