Description
This pack focuses on WW2 era weaponry.

This pack aims to bring WW2 era weapons to SE, with first focusing on larger turrets and slowly working down to support cannons and flak cannons.

All large turrets will get a deck level version and a raised version.

This pack is very much still a work in progress and stuff might not work as intended



Currently in the pack

Large caliber turrets:
  • 28 cm SK C/34 naval gun ( 5000m Range )
  • 28 cm SK L/50 naval gun ( 4000m Range )
  • 16"/45 caliber Mark 6 gun (7500m Range )
  • 46 cm/45 Type 94 naval gun (8000m Range ) * WIP

Torpedo Systems:
  • Mark 15 Quintuple Torpedo Tubes ( 10 000m Range )* Early WIP
  • Mark 15 Triple Torpedo Tubes ( 10 000m Range )* Early WIP
  • Mark 15 Submarine Torpedo Tubes ( 10 000m Range )* Early WIP

Notes

This mod is still in a development phase, some things might not fully work as intended yet and a few things might still be tweaked.

yeh a wc update early this month fixed how mass gets used on projectiles and uh some of my frags ( i shamelessly copied from northwind) had rediculous mass on em XD.

The update i pushed last night should fix this issue.

we had a bit of a interesting war the other day with boats flying around the server lol
i had been awol a bit getting married and honeymoon n what not so missed the wc update.

Love this mod, I been doing a ww1 naval server . But it seem recently for the last few weeks i had to remove this mod . It seems the naval turrets Yeet ships and flip them over with way too much force after just 1 shot of just two turrets . It seems all the turrets do this . If this could be fixed that would be so amazing since we really love this mod.

Not giving on on this, just been crazy busy working on a new season for Dygamic naval
and a few other bits n bobs ( also getting married next month lol )

got some updates on the drawing board just need to clear some dev time to iron things out

Please do not give up on this. Im using the updated Terra World mod with Jakaras water mod and im planning on making a campaign centered around Naval Warfare, shipping, and logistics. No space craft. The depth charges would be the cherry on top as making custom depth charges that sink at a quick rate is annoying.

yeh think the range min be like 1km ish.

torp damage still needs a bit of tweaking as i tweaked it last time on test ships with over the time compound armor.

Also, currently the torpedo depth seems to be very good when used at effective range, maybe 4 meters would be better but that's a minor difference and probably wouldn't change much. The torpedo seems to just punch through the Super Dreadnought as if it was a hot knife going through butter which I thought was meh since it meant no cool ship list for me but that's just me being super picky. It took about 5 torpedoes to sink it which I find to be perfectly reasonable so I'd say the torpedo is in a near perfect state!

if ya dm me on discord or so then i can have a wee lookie and help tweak things a bit better.
i think its set to sit at -3 meters

its important to note that if they are launched too close to the target they won't make it to their set elevation, need to verify the range as i forgot what the minimal range was for it hit that target depth
