Description


It introduces all 19 space marine geneseeds organs in the form of genes, 3 primaris geneseed genes, 4 psyker genes, 3 pariah genes, 10 chaos genes, 6 custodes genes and 6 primarch genes. Most if not all of these genes are strong and are meant to be.

These genes can be obtained outside normal biotech ways.

Chaos genes can be obtained by performing rituals at newly added ritual spots. Items required for these rituals can be crafted at the crafting spot.

Geneseeds can be implanted into pawns using the new Genetor building which is researchable, this is a slow process that adds one gene at a time and costs geneseed capsules which are craftable, this process eventually leads to custodes and primarch. Additionally a xenogerm can be harvested via a surgery from space marines with fully grown progrenoid glands, this can be done once per pawn.
Additionally after the death of a Space Marine, their secondary progrenoid gland can be harvested by using the Reductor or the Narthecium!

Psyker and Pariah genes can be randomly obtained through birth, where any xenotype may recieve either of these genes. If you to already have either, you can then surgically extract some warp potential from them and use that in the new warp adjuster building which are researchable.

Big and Small + Prerequisites Framework



If you're using the mod(s): Dubs Rimatronics and/or Crash Landing, then the Melanochrome gene gives immunity to their radiation.

If you're using any HAR race i HIGHLY suggest to use the mod: Big and Small + Prerequisites Framework, as they fix issues with body scaling when using HAR races.

If you're using any of Spencer7w's 40k mods there are patches to make them use my geneseeds.

If you're using any of these mods that i made: Warhammer 40.000 - Ideology or Warhammer 40.000 - Psycasts, then they have added stuff that revolves around these genes.



These patches can toggled on/off and can be found in: Mod options -> Vanilla Framework Expanded -> Toggable Patches, under Warhammer 40k - Genes

The patches should be self explanatory and it is required to restart the game for them to take effect.

With some gene combination your pawn can potentially get rather big which will cause pawn texture to be cut off, this can be fixed by going into VFE mod settings and checking "Disable texture caching"

Pawn heads and body may be oddly positioned, downloading Big and Small + Prerequisites Framework fixes this

This mod isn't going to receive any more updates. It's currently being reworked into a new mod, making everything a bit more balanced (hopefully), more streamlined and a better experience in general. Phonicmas' team hopes to release it soon.

Phonicmas doesn't really look at these comments all too often, so it would be best to make all your queries in the discord server.

I think you forgot to change the word custodes to primarch when you copied the text for everything but the stature gene.

Uhm, sorry for dumb question but I'm new to this game, so could anybody please explain how to get space marine genes w/o console?

Also, it seems there is a bug with the genetor. It took 24H and implement only one gene. You need to order the pawn to return to the genetor 19 times, for 19 days, to complete the procedure.
Maybe it would be nice to let the procedure run for 19 days until the pawn receivedd all the genes.

it seems to be related to the gene Demon mutation. Badly, because I used that genotype a lot to edit all my insectors dedicated tom combat. I can't use space marines genes, because they have too lot, my big lab can't handle it. And I wish not to use Custodes or primarchs ones, because they are overpowered.
