Tao - Total Avorion Overhaul

Description
Tao is a total-conversion mod for Avorion.

It's "headline features" are:

* less overwhelming loot system
* galaxy & combat overhaul
* massively better performance
* quality of life improvements

What to expect

* a fun sandbox experience
* a reasonably balanced "1.0"-quality release.

What not to expect

* Any story, or tutorial. Play the original first!
* Multiplayer hasn't been tested at all.

its keeps saying no usable mining turrets or fighters when mining turrets are equipped and i try to use auto pilot mine sector command. on current version and older version 2.3.2 of game. am i doing something wrong?

dev commanded in a captain on current version to use auto pilot controls. even with equipped mining turrets it says not mining turrets equipped to auto mine sector. ill try an older version of game to see if it works

dude just came by this mod by accident looking for stuff. your list has everything i wanted fixed different in avorion holy shit it looks amazing. gonna test it out. wish me luck to see if it still works i want it too so badly lmao

I understand there are no captains now, any mod I can install that *disables* need for captains so I can actually use more ships and functionalities that captains allow?

Do you happen to still be working on this mod? I ask because I wanted to know if It would be better to wait for another update or just play the mod as is. Either way, the mod sounds awesome and I can't wait to try it out!
