(DX11)Docking Ring

Description: six block complect containing: docking ring segment and segment corner, docking ring clamp and clamp corner, and two variants of airlock. Docking clamp is functioning as a merge block, and consists out or two blocks: Docking Clamp Part and Docking Clamp Corner. 4 of each one form a full docking ring. This separation get rids of old bug with troubles to connect. Old 3-block-wide variant is a legacy now: it remeains in the worlds, but cannot be crafted anymore. And it will not work with new system.

Q: I docked ship to a station and now can't undock even with docking ring turned off.
A: That's because your ship is now a station-type grid, that's the way game works and i cannot do anything about it. Turn it back to ship type of grid by going in to "info" page of your ship menu and press "convert to ship" button.

Edit: Well, I honestly consider this mod as a failure. No matter what I do, it still full of bugs and seems like forever will be. Doubt that I will continue to work on it, since I tried every solution (and yes, connectors isn't an option).

a way to prevent the "ships" from becomeing "stations" is to change the merge function into a connector function. it can still be made airtight, but on a large scale like this might be hard.

294619787 is the mod number. In future, if you look at the URL at the top of the page, the mod id for any game that has workshop mods is the number at the end of the URL. If you can't see it, then you can go to your steam settings and enable it.

is there any way to get the mod ID number.? For some reason the mod has stoped working for me, and I have found that when it happens with other mods I have to delete it form the mod folder and reinstall it.

why not make it work like a connector ?
