Hello and welcome to PillBox20's Kaiserreich Expansion mod!
This mod was born from my wish to rebalance and fix some things in Kaiserreich. Kaiserreich is my favourite mod and I want to make it better, so I gathered some recommendations from friends and my own observations and got to work. The changes range from slight AI adjustments, to entirely new focuses.



Currently there is new or reworked content for the following nations:
  • Bulgaria:
    -Cult to the Tsar finally has the Ferdinand Icon, not Boris's.
    -Renamed to Tsardom of Bulgaria.
    -New and reworked Designer Companies and MIOs.
    -Expanded and reworked massively the Rusi Rusev Branch.
    -Expanded and reworked the War Reparations Branch.
    -The Industrial Branch has a few new focuses, others are rebalanced.
    -The Ferdinand I path is reorganised to look better. National Spirits are rebalanced.
    -Some national spirits are made into timed ones or completely removed to prevent overflow of national spirits.
    -War Preparations now give a timed national spirit with reworked effects.
    -Operation Nishava now gives you 25 Political Power.
    -Curtail the Military League now gives you 15 Political Power.
    -Public Works and Land Clearances now has a tooltip.
    -The Bulgarian Commercial Bank national spirit is now removed when you get rid of the Black Monday.
    -Descend Upon Western Thrace is now removed. It's effect is transferred to Renew Pride as well as the bonuses from Integrate the Border Territories.
    -With the Imperial Path you should be able to core Constantinople.
    -The requirements to form the Bulgarian Empire are eased. You now need to have Serbia as a puppet, capitulated, or to control their land. The timer is removed, and you just need to occupy Constantinople.
    -Enforce the Ploesti Oil Lease is now available not only if Romania is a puppet of you, but also if you own their territory. If you own Muntenia you will improve the oil deposit instead of getting rights to it.

  • Ethiopia:
    -New Branch - Foreign Policy
    -New Focuses - Army Branch, Railroad Branch.
    -New Company - Railway
    -New Leader Traits
    -New National Spirits
    -New Events



I do plan to expand the list of things I fix, rebalance, adjust, reorganise, add to this mod. For now it is nothing solid planned. I don't mind reading your suggestions, so get to writing if you have something simple and cool that I can look into.

Hello everyone!

A heads up on what I am doing and will be doing in the near future.

Since a KR update is coming up in a few days, I will not be uploading before that happens. No strict timeline, but perhaps i. The next weeks.

As for the content itself, it will be bug fixes, and a focus on the airforce/navy branch.

As for the page here, I will clean it up and just point out the focus branches that I have added/reworked to make it easier to read.

Minor Update!

Bulgaria:
-bug fixes
-small rework of the army branch
-small balance changes here and there
-2 more military factories
-a dam in Pleven

Major Update!

Ethiopia has had a makeover.
Many things are rebalanced, and many new national spirits, and focuses exist for Ethiopia.

Hello everyone!

Small notification!
By the weekend (as late as Sunday) I will upload an update to this mod.

It will include some small additions and optimizations to the Bulgarian focus tree.

Also many modernization to the Ethiopian Focus tree and even a new branch to it.

Small update!

I have fixed the focuses that allow you to core new states.

Previously they used decisions to do that, but now it all happens in the Resistance/Compliance screen.

Hello everyone!

I have updated the mod to be working with Arms Against Tyranny DLC.
In addition I have removed all content outside Bulgaria, as it was either no longer needed due to the KR team updating the focus trees, or simply due to errors and future plans.

In addition, I have added new industrial organisations for Bulgaria.

I started my own rework and now it's a bit of a mess.
