!NOTE!
The cargo bay is (mostly) useless. Only really starts to shine if you upscale the ship. So it can easily be converted, just as the smart hull block, into something else you find useful.

Maybe I'll just verify the files or re-install the game. I've been having many problems with this game. Your suggestion to show specific blocks for some reason isn't working for me. Going to give it a try and come back to your ship.

Also, if you truly need more power, just convert the cargo hold into generator... Few people will need the 10 units it offer anyhow, no?

... you can show specific blocks from a dropdown menu in the builder... like, show only smart hull, then select generator block, press alt and then click on the smart hull block to transform it... No need to dissect the ship.

I had one subsystem for an extra turret, another for simply scanning the map for yellow blips. Those 2 shut the ship down and I couldn't move so I was just stuck floating in space. I know the ship only has 2 slots but if it can't handle it when I just use 2 slots then that's a problem. I started a new game and tried upgrading it like you said but there wasn't a way for me to replace said blocks without somehow ripping the ship apart just to get to those 2 blocks since they were on the inside.

... I hope you aren't expecting a 2 slot ship to have a ton of available energy for subsystems... You could convert the smart hull block to a generator for an additional 370 mv of power, but it IS a 2(two) slot ship so there isn't much room for energy generation in it.

It's a stepping stone for when you mine a few asteroids, so you have a starting ship to fly around in until you can get a 5 slot ship to move on to naonite with.

Had to make a new game and the ship works now but barely makes any power so it's kinda useless. Thanks anyway.

Whenever I spawn it in in build mode, on the right for the stats the game says that the ship has no acceleration.

Just tested it, and it's moving fine for me... I know there's keybindings for disabling thrusters/gyros and the like. That'd be the only thing I can see that would be wrong?
