DDR Altbau 3x3 corner 90° No.1

Hello Folks,

today's asset is a premiere of my first attempt a traditional, european architecture. I noticed that there's somewhat of lack of abandoned or unkempt residential buildings on the workshop, so I tried my hand at that.
To start things of, I recreated an abandoned residential building I found in Halle (Saale), and once finished, extended it to fit the plot size.
I know next to no information about the original building, or traditional european architecture for that matter. I'm simply re-creating them off images I find online or take myself.

Under the term "Altbau" I wanna group all these buildings, and set it as a direct contrast to my Plattenbau buildings.
The term roughly translates to 'old building' and is the general German word used for old architecture.
My main focus for this series will be derelict and abandoned residential buildings, to fit well with the rest of my East German assets.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated, and especially important for the start of this series so I can use it to improve my upcoming "Altbau" assets.



The 2 included buildings have been named by a system I hope is atleast somewhat understandable.
"DDR" sorts them to my other assets from former East Germany.
"Altbau" is my umbrella term for all buildings in traditional style, as explained at the start.
"3x3" specifies the plot size.
"-cor90" indicates if its a row or corner building, and at which angle.
The "No.1" stands for the general design/architectural style the building is.
"-A or -D" differentiates between the abandoned and derelict verion.



The buildings can be found under their names, starting with "Altbau" or alternatively by searching for "East German".
The main part of the facade (front and back) is color-mapped.
The derelict version works like any normal growable building, 3x3 size level 1.

The abandoned version is its own standalone building which can be found and placed via "Find it! 2".
It does NOT replace the derelict version once it gets abandoned. This is a purely cosmetic building.

Both buildings blocks are flush with the plot grid, so placing them next to each other or other buildings of that kind is rather simple.
Some of the textures are shared between both buildings, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
