Improved Noise Maker [Outdated]

Beskrivelse
[This mod is no longer working and is currently not updated]

This is a small mod adding several "Improved" versions of the Noise Maker.

This mod works in the current build 41 of multiplayer.

The base game variant only has a noise range of 17 tiles. This can be useful for small groups of Zeds inside buildings, but when you need to bring the noise like No. 10 this mod gives you that extra volume. As such the Improved Noise Maker and its variants all have a range of 200 tiles.

To craft this variant you will need to find a seperate skill magazine adequately titled: Engineer Magazine 1.0 (Make some noise edition). The Improved Noise Maker requires a level 4 Electrical skill, 4 amplifiers and 10 scrap electronics. The recipes for adding timers, triggers etc are learned normally via the Electronics Magazines.

@Thundercraft thanks for linking it. I have a remote mod already but I am sure it will help others.

Big Noise Generator

BTW: It has a range of 250 (the same as a vehicle siren or burglar alarm).

To activate it at a distance, you might try:
Long Range Remote

There's also "Air horn":

@Thundercraft I could not find a mod by that name. The only other mod I could find is this one and it only extends the range to 40. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2821023803&searchtext=noise

Just an FYI to anyone here who can't get this mod to work (and because it hasn't been updated since January):

I found an alternative noise maker mod: "Big Noise Generator"
Granted, it does not have as many features as this mod. For example, it may require a separate mod or something to add a remote trigger (such as "Long Range Remote").

@ Joseph Sneed
Instead of giving up entirely on both "Better Crowbar Mod" and "Better Lockpicking" (or until mod authors fix this), have you considered substituting this with "Big Noise Generator"?

I just tested it and it does work without those two mods

Joseph Sneed Just now
I have like 60 mods and it works with all of them other than those two. (at least as far as spawning the skillbook and not causing a crash. I have not tested it past that point)

For reasons I do not know the Better Crowbar Mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811707580 seems to prevent the skillbook from being able to be spawned (I checked with a cheat mod and I can force spawn the skill book with all my other mods enabled)

Also the Better Lockpicking mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2368058459 seems to cause a crash when both this and that mod are enabled for some reason.

I trial and errored my mods list to find the issues and these two mods seem to be causing the problem as I can turn on all my mods other than these two. I can also provide error logs if needed.

I have been through like 100 bookshelves and 2 saves and I have yet to see the magazine to make this. I also cannot find it listed in the cheat menu mods spawn table ether.
