Welcome to the Amalthea Collection. This is a sub-collection of Jupiter Civilizations. Here you will find all ships corresponding to the moons of the Amalthea moon cluster. The theme of this collection is a starter mobile base striving to become something big.

Lore:
Amalthea is the nature spirit that raised Zeus. This is resembled by the mobile starter base because it marks the beginning of becoming the biggest of all, the father of gods. Just like Amalthea raised Zeus, the Amalthea colony rises up to the Jupiter Station.

The Amalthea colony only consists of 6 people. One of them being the pilot. There is no ranking system and decisions are made with everyone involved. There are few ressources and few ships which is why every ship must fulfill as many tasks as they can. All of the ships, be it miner or grinder, are outfitted with weaponry to defend in emergencies. There is a small fighter which will do most of the dogfighting but nevertheless a fight should be avoided at any cost.
The Amalthea Colony regularly takes part in peaceful trading offers to sell ores and strives to build healthy relationships with nearby factions. Found shipwrecks are also salvaged by Thebe. Soon Amalthea will be expanded upon bringing life into a stationary home.
