Red Prussia-Baltic Sea (Realistic Start)

Description
Comrade Party Secretary,

the Party Central Committee delegates you to the north of our Republic, to the region of Osterburg. The development of the region is essential to strengthen the front of peace. The enemy is near and fraternal help is far.
The region is strongly agricultural, poor in resources, there is plenty of room in this sparsely populated area to drive collectivised and industrialised agriculture to its planned flowering.
In the north-west is the seaside resort of Thargau, which has remained almost undestroyed, as has the remote agrarian town of Rummelsberg in the south. Both have yet to be incorporated into the national structure by the party leadership. The new era will also take hold here.

The pearl of the region is the old proud workers' town of Osterburg with its chemical and textile combinates.
The liberation of the town only succeeded with great sacrifices; the N.a.z.i.-Fascists, in their senseless madness, declared the town, which was overflowing with refugees, a fortress. The result is a city that is half destroyed.
The railway is of very limited use, many bridges were blown up in the last minutes in a senseless act of destruction. The city is still overcrowded, housing the most urgent problem.
Even 15 years after the war, the citizens still live in ruins, shacks and wild settlements.
Due to the remoteness caused by the new border demarcations and the destruction of the infrastructure, the supply of foodstuffs and raw materials is not guaranteed. We are sure that, unlike their predecessor, they are not just grumbling about central planning and its alleged lack of support, but are rising to the challenge.

Their predecessor, however, was not completely idle: The factories are collectivised and operational under the wise leadership of the working class. The electricity grid in Osterburg was put into operation and many roads, part of the harbour and the most important bridges were at least provisionally repaired. A first socialist model farm for collectivised agriculture has been built, the comrades of the LPG are only waiting for the tractors. It will be a shining example and give a significant boost to the campaign for collectivisation.
In addition to the pressing housing question, the education of the working class must be pushed forward; in the medium term, the Party's goal is to make the region a model for socialist industrial development. Our most powerful resource will be the working people.

Take the lead in the initiative of the labourers and confirm the trust placed in you. We wish you full success in the development of our workers' and peasants' state.

With socialist greetings, the Party Central Committee.

This map is based on the great "Red Prussia" map by KArantukki and the realistic start was inspired by Toprus100.

Thanks to you and all whose mods I used for the map. I have created a collection, you can find it here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2899214937

The new game mechanic "Maintenance of buildings" created an unforeseeable problem: Not all decorative buildings could be accessed via paths afterwards. I have hopefully rebuilt everything so that all buildings are accessible via paths. Except for some mods, like some of the viaducts and the city walls, which have no or inaccessible road access, everything should now be directly accessible for refurbishment and demolition. I can't and don't like replacing these mods, they are too central to the style of the map. But they should all be accessible by helicopter. Let's hope that the authors of these mods change them soon. If you find buildings that are neither accessible via paths nor with (small!) helicopters for refurbishment, please write it in the comments.

I am open for comments and suggestions, I hope the scenario is not too narrow and you have fun developing Osterburg.

I have uploaded an update. Unfortunately, it remains a bit complicated because two of the reupload packages of Norch's old town houses have errors. You can find out how to fix the more serious of the two in the Changelog-notes.

Or you can leave out the hotels, kindergartens and restaurants, the map is still playable.

Ok, I have to update the Map. It will take some time.

I have the same issue as Muminov. I tried the manual download and the reupload on the workshop. Everything else is subscribed to. It is indeed some full blocks in font of the factories and some buildings spread out in the old town.

Thank you for your work :)

Hey Dr.Vogel. I dont get your point. If you write in the Feedback and Bugs Diskussion you can also load some screenshot... maybee then I understand you.

Listen, I know that it's the whole point of the "rebuilding after a war" thing, and I know it may have been requested, but PLEASE just make it so the embarkments are all normal and pre-fixed. Because holy crap, the game's terraforming sucks (even in the cheat mode), and I can't fix the ground to put any embankments properly. There's no way to link them up the right way, and I can't stand looking at that any longer

@Muminov
I made some changes regarding the missing buildings. Maybee you give a new try. If again not all buildings have been loaded, you can still load the map and see where the buildings are missing. If it's the Old Downtown buildings, it should be most noticeable in the neighborhood in front of the big clothing factory.

Then I have to rebuild everything again.

@Gumbus
THanks. Yes it is Kalliningrad.
I took the name from the original map. I don't know why they were named that way by KArantukki, but since the structure of the cities was designed by him, I didn't want to change the names

@Muminov

Maybee this works for you.

Hello, I was wondering what the significance of the naming of this region. Is Osterburg a historical name? This is based on Konigsberg right? it makes sense to rename it but why not to Kalliningrad? Really pretty map + builds btw :)
