Ancient Rim is a mod series that expands the cultural and technological timeline beyond the vanilla neolithic, industrial and spacer stages.
This submod contains everything related to the ancient civilizations of Egypt and the old Orient.

Details:

Ancient Rim - Dessert Edition is in development and only includes some pieces of Egyptian clothing and weaponry.
Armour, furniture etc. as well as Persian and Mesopotamian styled items may follow.


  • See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.

I have continued this Mod for V1.6 as part of the Ancient Rims Mod: https://www.steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507862392 .

The armors from this mod can't be assigned to colonist or stockpiles.

Replacing ParentName="ApparelBase" with ParentName="AncientArmourMakeableBase" on line 3 of the Apparel_EgyptMisc.xml seems to fix the issue.

I greatly expanded the Mod and I am pending Mlie's approval. You will need my version of the Ancient Rim Core Mod too.

Will you add more things for the ideology expansion? I think it would fit the Ancient Egypt theme extremely well
