Description
Zee's Mining and Salvaging Systems
An assortment of systems that will make your mining and salvaging operations easier and more efficent.
From now on there will be a small chance that claimable Asteroids will be made up of regional materials. Beyond that the UI of the Resource Depot has been adjusted to make it more user friendly. Relationship based pricing of selling/unbranding at the Smugglers market.

Systems

Mining System
The visibility of the directional arrows has been enhanced.
  • The arrows got moved to a different circle distance , so they no longer conflict with other directional arrows.
  • The size of the arrow, shows amount of resources relative to all detected asteroids.

Salvaging System
Shows salvageable wrecks, and functions similarly to the Mining System.

Refinery System
Onboard system for refining on-the-go.
  • Depending on rarity they can process scrap, and are more or less efficent.
  • Processable materials depend on system material
  • Refining amount pr. batch is limited

C64 Sector Analyzer
Supposed to be a drop-in for the C43 Object Detector
It does what the C43 does, but has the following enhancements:
  • Shows claimable types, and amount
  • Shows sector material composition, and % values of occurence
  • Shows what kind of regional bosses can be found.

Gameplay

Cargohold Hud
To make cargohold management easier, you'll find a new status bar showing how full your hold it.

Claimable Asteroids
There is a small chance (35%) that claimable asteroids are made from mineable materials.
These asteroids give you a better sell price, based on the material they are made from and your relations.

Smuggler Market
The smuggler market has been changed to take relations into account when unbranding/selling stolen goods. If you have good relations, it is more profitable to unbrand illegal goods, however if you have bad relations it is better to sell them.

Resource Trader
Updated Material trading GUI to have more space, and show much you will earn/pay in total.

Known Issues
  • The cargohold hud is not hidden in strategic mode (F9) - i could not find a callback to hook into to toggle this.

I wonder if anyone with the Into The Rift DLC has tried this mod lately (2024)? Does it still work?

Hi all,
i am very sorry for the lack of updates, unfortunatly i am not sure when i will have time to do them.

If anybody is willing to do the fixes, i would be more than happy to integrate them into the codebase and share credit with that person.

Mod needs a version update, still works, just throws an error when launching the game. Also the icons are still missing.

@Dr.SONG /textures/icons is where the base game stores icons such as those for subsystems.

The icon of C64 and Salvage System is missing. I believe that after the game upgraded, these icon resources in this game changed. I guess putting them in the "textures" folder may help?
