Description


Palpatine's machinations and the decay of the Republic have brought the galaxy into the most destructive war it's ever seen. The Separatist droid armies threaten to overrun the Republic and no matter who comes out on top, the course of galactic history will be altered forever...

Playable Factions:
- Galactic Republic
- Confederacy of Independent Systems
- Hutt Cartels

Non-Playable Factions: (Aligned with the CIS or Republic)

- Galactic Republic Sector Forces
- Trade Federation
- Techno Union
- Commerce Guild
- Banking Clan

In Empire at War: Expanded, the traditional Empire at War tech level is traded for an era-based system that impacts different story events, factions, unit rosters and heroes are available, with the galaxy set up to recreate various conflicts within the Star Wars Legends lore. There are also new government mechanics where you can interact with other subfactions and story events in new ways, along with a planet loyalty system, giving extra income, unique units, and other bonuses at high levels, but with other negative effects if your member worlds become too unhappy with your leadership.

Older versions put on Mod Database to continue old saves. These will have several focuses.

Running the Mod

To play: After subscribing, make sure to let the download finish (see your Steam download manager, it'll say at the bottom of your Steam client), then launch Forces of Corruption. Once ingame, go to the Options menu, then Mods, and enable it from there.

If the game doesn't re-launch when you enable the mod ingame, or you want to just directly launch into the mod, go to the properties for Empire at War in Steam and paste the following into launch options:

The mod is designed for English language versions of the game, so if you have a non-English version, your text may be missing. To fix this, to into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1976399102
And rename the MasterTextFile_English.dat to MasterTextFile_YourLanguage.dat

Boarding is already a feature in the mod but is only availble for the Hutts.

the mod dev should add new units like threpublic attack shuttle, the shethapede or droche boarding craft so players can board and capture enemy ships

A problem I do still have is that in the late game the game becomes really boring. You have such an advantage in resources that you're unbeatable and it feels more like busy work to conquer planet after planet.

I think it would be cool to have events to spice up that stage, the early and mid game have enough but the late game feels quite barren still. I think a good idea could be that if you're either the Confederacy or the Republic and you are more powerful than the other 2 factions combined the Hutts will sue for peace. You can choose to accept it which makes Hutt planets unconquerable but also makes them completely innert and not needed for galactic conquest so that you don't have as many planets to conquer. Or you can choose to reject it at which point they ally with the other faction so that you still have some worthwhile opposition in the late game.

i have a problem where i cant fight both space and ground battles anymore. the sound clue happens but the ui for the battle doesnt pop up. can any one help?

Hi, is it possible to reduce the fighter/bomber squadrons by 50%? THe huge amount of small craft really eats performance.

Hey! First things first, a huge thank you to the team for their work. This mod, together with TR, have made this title stay as my favourite game ever. And now to the main reason I typed this, y'all should update the mod description! It still mentions only TR and FOTR as the only mods from the team, RR is not mentioned.

I wanted to write a few words to thank the whole team for that update. The space battles are smoother and more subtile, there is a larger variety of ships, the infrastructures limit less a quick progression and the overhaul exprience is enhanced. Thanks
