Have the game on an M.2 drive, use mods like Faster Game Loading - Continued, Performance Optimizer, etc and your loading and performance should improve drastically. You could also use the Loading Progress mod to see what mod(s) take the longest to load.
I have over a thousand Mods. None of them are re-texture or prop Mods. The "optimization" saved me about ten minutes out of a full hour to load.
Also Rimsort isn't a mod just a tool. Sometimes it makes the game load faster and other times it doesn't. Try a mod like Faster Game Loading - Continued as well to load faster. The optimized textures will mostly load faster if you have a larger modlist.
The Rimsort Mod didn't do anything when it generated DDS files. My loading time is exactly the same as always, making it completely useless. Do I need to delete the PNG files to prevent it from running those?
Useful Marks by itself functions well, and has crisp and sharp textures.
When using this mod, the textures appeared blurry.
I used RimSort's texture optimization hoping it would resolve the problem. It did not, and Useful Marks textures were still blurry.
I removed this mod again, and the textures returned to being sharp and crisp.
I then came here to read the comments, and saw the one regarding mipmap bias. I reinstalled the mod, changed the setting to override mipmaps, and turned it to 1.0 for quality. The textures improved in quality and everything was fine. I guess I may have had this mod for a while and the settings were incorrect or not updated.
So if anyone else has issues: Go to settings, override mipmap quality, set to max (-1.00 quality).
