Read the Move It User Guide for more information!

New in 2.9.2
Bug fixes and optimisations:
- XML Restore is more reliable (thanks Ami)
- Support for upcoming PO feature: Filters
- Fixed unreliable road-connection-required check (thanks Egi)

Usage

Hold the Shift key to select multiple objects to move at once.

The following objects can be selected with Left Click:
- Buildings

- Props (Get Prop Snapping to be able to move up/down. Props that conform to terrain can not be raised/lowered.)
- Decals
- Surfaces (brushes and ploppable surfaces)
- Network nodes and segments (roads, quays, etc...)
- Procedural Objects (requires the Procedural Objects mod)

This tool doesn't provide any limitations for maximum power. Use at your own risk.

Read the Move It User Guide for more information!

Compatibility
Does not use the detour technique for maximum compatibility.
Does not alter game save files in any way and can be disabled/removed safely at any time.

Also
You can see the assets in exported XML with Deehek's Asset List Generator[cslmodding.info] tool.

I have a question/possible bug. When I try to change heights, the node just continue to rise/fall when I release the page up/down button. The only way to stop the movement is to bulldoze the node/item. Any clue what might cause this? This issue have been around for months/years for me, so it's not a new one.

Thanks a lot for the mod.

I have a feature request.

Allow us to set the height of the object by entering the number in meters (like how extra landscaping tools does) and by relative height compared to the local terrain height.

So, I can set object height to be 122 m above sea level or 6 m above the terrain height at that point.

It would be very useful if you are making interchanges over slightly uneven terrain and want to sink or lift roads compared to the terrain. (like +6 or -6 meters)

I don't think this is an algorithmically complex feature because we are able to 'set height' of the object and we already have the 'follow terrain' feature which means 'move it' can read the terrain height.

Is there a way to merge/attach nodes? It would make it much easier if I could attach node to another road particularly when I've copied a group of object I've worked to get exactly the right shape. The only way I can think of to do it currently is to bulldoze a section of road and then connect things the usual way by building a new segment. Been searching the mods to see if there's something that does this but haven't found on yet.

Update: I figured it out. At the main menu there should be a "Content Manager" that you can click on and you can turn on/off mods. I hope this helps.

Do you need to uninstall and reinstall the game? I've tried restarting the game, pressing "M" and downloaded other required mods that went with this one. It's not working for me. Please help. Thank you!
