Description
While the majority of wrestling history has already been covered in Fire Pro World, I've noted a somewhat surprising lack of edits from the somewhat obscure all-women promotion from the early 90's known as the LPWA.

Since I prefer to focus on wrestlers not-yet-made, and with the LPWA roster largely not made by others, I'll be slowly uploading the entire roster that I have footage of.

Stay tuned as new wrestlers and new ring parts (and referees if I can pinpoint some ref names while watching old footage) pop up in this collection over the next few weeks/months.

The Beast
Created by psychoapeguy
The big brute of the LPWA, The Beast (known as Peggy Patterson earlier in her career) basically had a biker gimmick and used her size and a bunch of rough, brawling tactics to build up a decent win-loss record. Eventually battling Susan Sexton in an unsucc...
Susan Sexton
Created by psychoapeguy
Former LPWA World champion (and recognized by WCW as the Women's World champion in the early 90s) "Superstar" Susan Sexton has made her way to Fire Pro World. Since I like making obscure wrestlers that haven't been made yet, I plan on putting up several mo...

Jan Flame
Created by psychoapeguy
The Living Canvas, Jan Flame (also known as The Flame in the LPWA) was a pretty recognizable wrestler within the promotion. Sporting tattoos all over would have probably been enough, but Jan Flame also had hair that might best be described as similar to Ha...
Denise Storm
Created by psychoapeguy
Denise Storm had a very short career (basically, she only wrestled from 1989 to 1992, when the LPWA was open) but she had all the makings of a star. If she had broken into wrestling a few decades before or a few decades after, she probably would have been ...

LPWA Intro Ring Mat
Created by psychoapeguy
Since I've been watching a bunch of LPWA for my recent edits, and because I like to make ring textures, I figured I'd make an attempt to create a custom ring based on the LPWA intro sequence...Which was fun since there are no high-quality versions of that ...

Sindy Paradise
Created by psychoapeguy
Sindy Paradise, despite having one of the worst win-loss records in LPWA history, was easily one of the most memorable and popular from the promotion. Her ability to make it look like she was being destroyed by her opponents, while fantastic, was likely th...
LPWA Pabst Blue Ribbon Left Ring Apron
Created by psychoapeguy
A little late, but finally found footage where I could get a good look at the ring aprons for the LPWA's Pabst Blue Ribbon ring. The camera-side apron is basically plain, but the sides facing the crowd have the PBR logo on them. So, those aprons are made a...
LPWA Pabst Blue Ribbon Turnbuckles
Created by psychoapeguy
A little late, but decided to make turnbuckles for the LPWA Pabst Blue Ribbon ring. We're unable to do this in Fire Pro, but basically the ring had all white ropes facing the camera and all blue ropes facing the left and right, with the turnbuckles half an...

Bad Girl
Created by psychoapeguy
I honestly don't know much about Bad Girl - if she wrestled under any other names, etc....There just isn't much about her. I don't recall ever seeing her in a singles match, either. Only tag matches with Black Venus as Bad, Black, and Beautiful. That said,...
Ashley Kennedy
Created by psychoapeguy
Ashley Kennedy was a manager...er...owner...because she owned her talent...in the LPWA. She would occassionally step into the ring, but usually in tag matches with the Beast (as Beauty and the Beast...get it?) and she'd only be in long enough to get a shot...
Lady X
Created by psychoapeguy
Well it's my 100th upload...since I'm in the middle of creating the LPWA roster, I felt upload number 100 should belong to the woman with the longest LPWA title reign, Lady X. Lady X spent most of her career wrestling as Peggy Lee Leather (and the later pa...

LPWA Blue Ring Mat

Tom Johnson
Created by psychoapeguy
Tom "Hatchethead" Johnson, as Jim Cornette would call him on commentary, was a referee in the LPWA. That's all I know of him. I don't recall seeing him referee anywhere else. But that's alright, now you can have Tom Johnson referee in your promotion and ha...

Christopher Love
Created by psychoapeguy
"The Queen" Christopher Love managed the Glamour Girls in the LPWA, naming the trio "The Queen and His Court." Yes, it was a gay gimmick. Easy way to get booed by a wrestling crowd back in the early 90s. Love also spent some time in the USWA and SCW as a m...
Bambi
Created by psychoapeguy
Bambi, later known in her career as Selina Majors, was a pretty popular babyface in the LPWA, and very briefly in WCW. Her personality was down-to-earth and sweet, but if anyone got on her bad side, she was quick to throw fists as well. She formed a popula...
Candi Devine
Created by psychoapeguy

John DeMarc
Created by psychoapeguy
Yup, I've figured out the name of another LPWA referee thanks to Jim Cornette's commentary. He seemed to be the only commentary guy in the promotion willing to mention referees by their names. Anyway, John DeMarc seemed to pop up in matches around halfway ...

Linda Dallas

Kat Leroux

Babyface Nellie
Created by psychoapeguy
I recently described Babyface Nellie to a friend as a female Iron Mike Sharpe. While she doesn't match Sharpe's size, much like Sharpe's WWF run, she's very vocal in the ring and rarely sees a W in the win column. There isn't much about her online. She see...
LPWA White Ring Mat

Rustee Thomas
Created by psychoapeguy
Rustee "The Foxx" Thomas was a pretty well-traveled female wrestler in the early 90's. She spent a lot of time bouncing between the LPWA, WWOW, POWW, and various other indie promotions. In the LPWA, she was mostly beaten by the good girls, but was briefly ...

Shelly Francis
Created by psychoapeguy
When it comes to storylines, Shelly Francis may have had the most interesting storyline in LPWA history. Debuting in the promotion as Sheeba "The Desert Rose," she was managed by Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie. Over time, Al-Kaissie became abusive towards her. Eve...
Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie
Created by psychoapeguy

Brittany Brown

La Gata
Created by psychoapeguy

Alma Alvarez
Created by psychoapeguy
Alma Alvarez, in my opinion, was one of the more underrated competitors in the LPWA. She was usually smooth in the ring, and always seemed to get a crowd reaction. Unfortunately, she seemed to mainly be used for enhancement purposes. She was sometimes team...
Kimmie Kozak
Created by psychoapeguy
Kimmie Kozak had a few matches in the LPWA as an enhancement talent, but seemed to be more of a POWW mainstay, where she got a bit of a push. Aside from that, I don't know a whole lot about her. There isn't a ton on her online. As a result, for the time be...
Madusa Miceli
Created by psychoapeguy
Madusa Miceli, in the LPWA, had come off of a successful run in the AWA and a tour of Japan. While she never held the LPWA Title, she was still one of the promotion's top stars in its early years. Madusa eventually had a gimmick where she did not want to s...

"Exotic" Adrian Street - Manager

Lisa Starr
Created by psychoapeguy
As far as I can tell, Lisa Starr didn't wrestle anywhere except for the LPWA. She appeared to be a bodybuilder-turned-wrestler, or at the very least, a woman with above-average strength. She teamed with Allison Royal against the team of Miki Handa and Mami...

Shinobu Kandori is a legendary figure in joshi, yet not nearly as well-known or as popular as other stars of the era like Manami Toyota, Aja Kong, or Akira Hokuto. Speaking of Hokuto, Kandori had one of the best matches I've ever seen with her in 1993. I h...
