The Senatorial Office was founded in mid 2017 by Senator Steve Phillips, and originally functioned as a low budget promotion running out of Washington D.C. The Office quickly grew and developed partnerships with a number of other independent organizations. However, this growth could not be sustained perpetually on the intended budget. Enter Morgan "Midas" Matthews, an enormously wealthy investor who took an interest in the wrestling world, and put his financial muscle behind the Office. Now, with the proper budget, the Senatorial Office has become more of an NWA-esque governing body with a set of Affiliate Partners. Over time, Midas Matthews was ousted from his position, and now runs Golden Touch Promotions as its own affiliated entity and Senator Steve Phillips has retired from professional wrestling and has handed the management of the Office to Anthony Kalb.

Instead of a set of belts, the Office allows the Affiliates to retain their titles, and runs several lists of rankings that serve as the promotion's main honors.
