Hubs & Transports DLC Mod Compatibility and Loading Issues
If you have any issues with the new Treasure Hunt DLC, please be sure to read Avanya's support discussions Game not working and the list of compatible mods.

Mod Description
This mod let you customize various options about vehicles. To access those options simply click on the vehicle icon at the bottom right of your screen (next to the policy icon). This workshop object is a fork of AVO version 1.8.2 published by Boogieman Sam[github.com], who has retired from the Cities Skylines modding community and left this mod open-sourced for the community.

Use the Vehicle Selector by Algernon for an increased individual experience to control spawing even more.

Changelog
The Changelog can be found here or on the Wiki[github.com].

Compatibility
This mod can be safely removed without impact on the savegame. The AVO setting is kept inside the save file but will not cause any harm.

@iShpack9 - starting with the most easiest question: is the mod enabled and do you see the settings in the mod options ? If yes, you should check the output_log.txt for messages of AVO, and what the messages would be.

Hello, I have a problem - there is no button for this mod on the panel, the hotkeys do not work. I tried to remove all the mods, except for this one, delete them one by one. Nothing helped. Is there a prepayment for how to fix it?

@Yosh - please see below - sorry for late reply, being busy with lots of other stuff.

Hi Yosh 1/2 - That is indeed a weird behavior. The deactivation in AVO would only disable the vehicles in the currently loaded game. If a vehicle is active, it simply will stop spawning for the next time. The AVO data in the savegame itself only contains the values and properties, and is bascially the same which is stored in the configuration file.

When removing/unsubscribing a vehicle AVO does not do anything, because it will not find this specific vehicle therefore also no active changes (what is not there cannot be changed), the entry is skipped. Old data may remain in config and savegame, but not processed.

2/2 - I had it now and then, that the game had an issue with the special vehicles (e.g. Electric), for service vehicles AVO would give a warning but the game never crashed. You most likely do not exclude any vanilla vehicles from loading in LSM (with the exclusion list)? If the game load broke, what happend sometimes, especially after updates, I activated all the options for "Safe Load". It might be, that a removed vehicle caused issues on the map.

You might want to turn on more logging in the options and check the output-log for more clues. Hope this helps, CS was always very fragile in this concern, so maybe something can be found.

And as the German Kundendienst says "das ist bei mir noch nie passiert". ;)

First of all, thank you very much for your commitment! And this mod! I have enjoyed it very much for many years.
In the last two to three months I have deactivated around 20 old vehicles (trains, commercials, residential vehicles, garbage collection) in AVO. I also try to unsubscribe from these - also individually - in the workshop. When I do this, LSM doesn't load into the game. I also removed optional mod conflicts for testing purposes. Even then the problem persisted.
Do you have an explanation or further suggested solutions?
(Wir können dies von meiner Seite auch sehr gerne auf Deutsch diskutieren. Wie Du magst.)

@1942ertan - happy to hear that it works now. I was thinking that something got stuck. Will try the next days/week doing a fresh recompile, just for the cause. There is currently nothing added/changed. Happy Skylining :)

@Tim, I re install game, problem solved. Thanks.
