Description
Commander, some of our soldiers are asking for an alternative to our grenade launchers... They say their armor is getting in the way? I've repurposed our gauntlets to launch grenades with the same expected distance and explosive potential. This should allow our troops to leave the bulkier launchers behind.

Introduces Wrist-Mounted Grenade Launchers
Many of the characters available on the workshop are limited in class choice due to potential clipping due of secondary weapons like the grenade launcher. These wrist-mounted launchers aim to alleviate that concern while maintaining expected gameplay. Each gauntlet should overlap well if you decide to equip soldiers with heavy armors, too.

New Content
Conventional Wrist-Mounted Grenade Launcher
  • Available at the start of the game.
  • Has the same distance and explosive potential of the tier 1 grenade launcher.
Magnetic Wrist-Mounted Grenade Launcher
  • Available at the same time of building the Tier 2 Grenade Launcher
  • Has the same distance and explosive potential of the tier 2 grenade launcher.
Powered Wrist-Mounted Grenade Launcher
  • Available at the building of the Tier 3 Warden Armor
  • Has the same distance and explosive potential of the tier 2 grenade launcher.
  • Intended to match cosmetically while keeping balance intact.

Additional Details
This will seamlessly integrate into a current or new campaign.

Is this compatible with Xskin? is it available for grenade launchers as a skin if I use it?

hmm strange. even when I used the standard grenade launcher it shows the beam one on them too for some reason and seems to be no way to make it not appear

Thanks :) it's the first mod I ever made. It will not break anything when used in conjunction with that mod, but it will also not upgrade the beam wrist-mounted grenade launcher unfortunately.

This idea is seriously awesome, never considered it until I made my Krogan Wrex a Sapper! But, is this compatible with: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1181681128? I just started a new campaign, first promotion so starting a new campaign is no issue.

Ok, tried it. Works with prototype armory and CI, but you can only access the higher tiers through xskin. Works perfectly

Subscribed, but haven't played yet, just want to ask, does this work with prototype armory where weapons are not infinite? If not, can I do something in the .ini files to make them buildable? Cause I soooo want to use this. Thanks for this by the way

Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.
