[Fighter Blueprint] Batwing Mk. I [Batman: The Animated Series]

Description
Designed for situations above and beyond the capabilities of the Batmobile, the Batwing Mk. I was Batman's personal aircraft throughout Batman: The Animated Series. Primarily used as a rapid form of transportation, the Batwing seated two comfortably (usually Batman and Robin) and was capable of vertical take-off and landing in tight spaces. Though it was not frequently used for combat, the Batwing carried a variety of gadgets and weapons to assist Batman, including a forward-mounted grappling arm, a net launcher, and a bomb bay on the underside of the craft. It was also known to have advanced stealth capabilities. The Batwing Mk. I was eventually replaced by the Batwing Mk. II in The New Batman Adventures.

This build of the Batwing Mk. I is based on its appearance in Batman: The Animated Series. It is 197 blocks. This is the first time I've done a fighter based on an (albeit fictional) aircraft, but I think it looks great as a starfighter. The Batwing in Batman: The Animated Series was based on the Batwing from the 1989 Batman film, which was additionally shown to carry twin rotary machine guns and missiles, if you're looking for armament ideas.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.

Suggested weapon: Launcher, chaingun
