[WOTC] Invisible Parts For Hero Units

Update: Added the following parts. This should be the completed version of this mod.

invisible forearm for Reaper,Skirmisher,Templar.
Invisible shins for Skirmisher and Templar.

Sorry for this mess I have made.

What is this mod?

A utility mod that allows you to hide accessories of the hero units to make full body cosmetic mods look better. This can also make modders' work easier, depending on what they're trying to achieve.

It works similarly to the Invisible Head mod, simply select the hidden body part from the corresponding slots and you're set.

Q: How can I hide the gauntlet/ripjacks on Templars/Skirmishers?
A: These are weapons, not armour parts. You'll need to wait for someone to make an invisible gauntlet/ripjack mod.

Q: How can I hide xxxx on my XCOM soldiers?
A: You might need Empty WOTC Deco Slots for XCOM Soldiers for that.

I want to report bugs or give suggestions!

If you're experiencing problems or want to post suggestions, please provide the following:
The exact cosmetic mod you're trying to apply to your soldier. ( e.g. Kexx's Palaven mod.)
The class of your solder ( e.g. a Reaper)
The effect you want to achieve ( e.g. "Make a badass Turian soldier but without the shoulder pauldrons." )
The problem you're having ( e.g. "but I can't hide the pauldrons, there is no option for it!")
A screenshot if possible.

This will greatly help me nail down the problem because I can't test all the cosmetic mod out there and I can't try out all the cases in my limited time. I need your help to make this mod better so don't be afraid of nagging me :)

The outfits showed in the screenshot is from E3245's MGSV Jungle Fatigues. and Kexx's Palaven mod Check it out!

The only feature missing here is the invisible head for Skirmishers (the original Invisible Head mod works fine for Reaper and Templar). Any capable modders out there who can make this happen?

@Dragon23 & nekworkshop; thanks for the responses

@Rusty Russell No, this mod doesn't deal with that problem at all. Please refer to Dragon's answer, which is also what I've been doing in my game.

@Rusty Russell:
No, you'd need to use something like "WotC Uniforms [Dirty Patch]" and re-apply customisations saved as a uniform after an armour tier upgrade.

does this mod stop armour upgrades like plate armour ruining my customised characters?

Hey, I`m getting a `No face` (just teeth and eyes on some of my guys even on an engineer in game. How do I get rid of this? Is there a mod that does it? Sorry to post that here but not sure where else to ask.

Nice, mod, if only i saw this one before making my own... Anyway, nice job. Thumbs Up!

@TripleExit, I think i have noticed in my case, that limbs are usually added automatically in many cases when changing or pre-viewing the torso. Could this be the case, instead of happening when restarting the game?

Is there any way to prevent the game from giving arms and legs to your character pool characters everytime the game is re-launched? I have full body outfits so I use invisible limbs, but everytime the game is re-launched, they all have overlapping limbs again, so if they spawn in my game (recruitment) I have to edit them everytime.

@大魔王 這個mod只添加外觀部件,不影響手柄操作。

@Coolio Wolfus The mod does add inivisble parts for Reaper's coat and Templars's "skirt". It's called invisible thighs.

As for making new skirts, physics assets are always an ass to work with in X2. The current tools we have at hands can make skirts, except they'll be clipping like crazy. The reaper coat and templar skirts are made with nvidia's APEX clothing tools, which no modder that I've known of so far has successfully got it working. A man can still hope, though.

@Tales Sorry for the very late reply but I can't reproduce the problem on my side. The ini file add empty ArmDeco for Reapers across all amour tiers and I can confirm they all show up properly in game. I even tested it on a Reaper with whole body Ebon armour and able to hide the shoulder part.
