This mod works just fine. It does not seem you need The Republic dlc, but from testing you 100% need Conclave

how do you see who is in parliament and give them titles etc? is there a guide to using this mod

It should do the updates and SLC haven’t affected any areas that I had modded

Unfortunately for now I'm leaving this mod as it is. I will make minor adjustments here and there and keep it up to date. Sorry to let you guys down like this. I am however working on new mods for EU IV which are custom nations if anyone is interested.

Bad news guys my laptop has screwed me over and all the files are gone. I had not done a backup so its back to square one. So unfortunately the update probably won't be till Christmas.

@KingToon97 Thanks for the answers ^^ But still try to make the king head of the church as, for example, it is realized in German paganism. After all, it was for this purpose that Anglicanism was created)

@KingToon97 I'd say keep MPs, the House of Commons in England was established 1341 so techincally it is historically accurate. And an earlier form occurred in 1265.

Sorry if this is suggested often, but would it be possible to add an option to make this a general thing that can happen to any country? to act like the natural progression towards parliament.

Hey guys quick update. So everything is going well so far, church of england has been added however I have had to make the head of the church the Archbishop of Cantebury because 1 of two things happen if it is your character. Either Your title becomes Head of The Church of England instead of King or your become a theocracy and it ends. I went through my history books and as a few of you have pointed out about a male spouse becoming a Prince. So as suggested a new minor title called Prince of the Realm has been added. Noble titles can be granted if they are not landed however they cannot be your primary title.

War of the Roses has been put on the back burner as it's such a huge undertaking making it a mod in its own right if it is to be done properly. I am considering making a new mod instead of an update as the mod is more of an overhall of England now, instead of just adding Parliament. Also do people want me to remove MP's to make it more historically friendly? Thank you guys for supporting the mod and I hope you like what is to come.

I wonder how it goes with Anglicanism. If I'm not mistaken, it has not been completed yet

@KingToon97 Actually it did happen in Europe, there was just indecision as whether to name a Queen's spouse as Prince Consort or King-Consort. Queen Victoria was forced to do that when parliament refused to give Albert any higher title. So it could happen that a female ruler gave a husband the title Prince of the Realm. Queen Mary gave Phillip of Spain , King-Consort but this angered her subjects.

Also I wonder if there's a way to grant noble titles that aren't landed?

@KingToon97 I repeat, I really want to see a chain of events with a war of roses or a whole scenario. Also, I hope it will be possible to have additional posts on the board visible not only in the "My council" window, but also in the "Positions" window for a more convenient appointment. And also, I do not know whether it is possible to change the model of castles and cities on the map for English culture under larger and beautiful textures!

I'll consider some of those ideas. However whilst this mod isn't totally historically acurate, I try to do my best to keep it that way. I can add the palace's and possibly the speaker. However the problem with giving a man the title of Prince is, that to my knowledge, wouldn't happen. I know that in the case of Charles being the Prince of Wales Diana became Princess of Wales. But this isn't automatic as Camila isn't Princess of Wales she's the Duchess of Cornwall. Also her majesty's consort Prince Philip did not become Prince until Queen Elizabeth II was crowned. However I could look into adding some titles that would mark the Princess's spuse as someone of great importance.

@KingToon97 yes! I've been waiting for so long haha. Have you thought about adding a royal palace to be built like Beamount Palace which is historically correct or St. James Palace?

Also I was wondering for the entire parliament series not just the England version, having the ability to remove or add the title of prince/princess? For example my heir is a girl and her future husband isn't styled as a prince, I have the ability to grant him that title, Prince of England/ Prince of United Kingdom etc

Hi guys sorry for the lack of updates. I'm hoping to role out updates for Europe and England around Halloween. The update will include, more accurate names, reformation event's and possibly War of the Roses. As long as there are no crippling bugs it should be fine. If you guys have any suggestions please comment on here and I'll see what I can do.

The Council of Twenty-five Barons was not separated between commoners and lords, it was only lords and a handful of important people. I do not want a mod that institutes a modern political system like the current Parliament.

I'm not sure how historically accurate that is.
Did the various senior men in England meet at Parliament regularly in the 13th century?
I know that they didn't in the 17th century preceding the civil war and Cromwell.
