Yup, same issue as you Eddi, only 1 train can be in the station at the time.

Dunno if it's this mod, or my abuse of node controller, but i frequently have the problem that in double track stations, a train on one track blocks trains entering the other track.

Mixing NAR with RW2 tracks seems to freak out the AI aswell

I figured it out the NAR rail had generated a signal light where there was no junction at all causing them to stop for no reason on a single line track

The base game only has one-way single tracks; this mod adds support for two-way single tracks, assuming you have an asset that provides them (like Railway 1/2 or many of the rail assets on the workshop).

It's my understanding that this functionality has been added to the base game...awhile ago. I'm not subbed to this mod and single tracks work perfectly for me.

Most likely there will be no further update to this mod. As far as I know it still works fine.

There's also a newer test version "SingleTrainTrackAI [TEST]" that is compatible with TM:PE (so you can change priorities / signals on rails using it) but it had some bugs with the two-way dual/quad tracks from Railway 2, which I never managed to fix, so that's why it's still a "test" version.

Skyve warns about this mod and I'm also not sure if it might not be responsible for some small issues. But what surprises me, Skyve thinks the mod is orphaned, "CoarzFlovv" has withdrawn and the mod is no longer maintained.
Now I see, however, that "John Rambo" comments on the mod from time to time.
So can I hope that the mod is maintained / further developed or should I follow Skyve and unsubscribe from the mod?

It is needed for single two-way tracks; one-way tracks (either from the game, from the "required" mod or from other rail networks) do not need this mod.

Thank you for the mod CoarzFlovv.

I was using it. But then decided to stop for the time's being because my trains are acting weird. I'm not accusing your mod of doing anything wrong. I just decided to temporarily stop using all train related mods until I find the problem.

So I turned off this mod in game and then unsubscribed from it. So as far as I know there there should be nothing involving your mod in the game or on my PC. Yet when I start the game a debug message comes up saying "No source files found: SigleTrainTrackAI" Is there a way to get rid of this message?

I figured it's about the in-game warning; this mod still works as intended, there is no update necessary because it already is compatible with the 1.16.0-f3 game version, it wasn't broken by any of the recent DLCs & patches. I added the "compatible with Financial Districts" banner at the top :)

can you make it for double train trakcs? it seems like your mod can be used as a fixed block signal railway system, it think it will work to prevent train bunching

@kociaciasty it doesn't work for trams, only for trains (and the testing version for metro too). I have plans to add support for trams, but I can't provide an estimate when that would be ready.

This mod is needed for two-way single tracks, as added by the "one-way train tracks" mod (badly named, it adds two-way tracks as well), or by one of the many railway assets on the workshop.

doesnt seem to work much now. it sometimes works but then they just suddenly enter the tracks and block in other trains. all my freight depots are backlogged because the trains keep bypassing it. idk if it has to do with the NAR rails or something else. happens on vanilla too.

That won't work because the entire segment is reserved, so it'll block the train on the opposite platform as well. However, I'm working on changing the AI to reserve each individual track, which will solve this issue.

Does it work with two-way station tracks that are connected through TMPE? (Or do you have a plan for this?) What I do when I need a long terminal track (so trains need to go the reverse direction to leave the station) is the following: I connect several segments of station tracks but use TMPE to set the junctions such that change of tracks is disabled. This way these segments are joined together into a long station track and the change of tracks will only happen in the end segment where the normal track begins. This avoids the "jump" of tracks for very long trains. However, I very often run into the problem that incoming trains sometimes enter a segment of this long track. This will block the train that is already in the station but wanting to leave: It cannot change tracks, because it is disabled; and it cannot go the reverse direction either, because there is the blocking train in front of it.

Oh, I see. MOM two-way single tracks are a hack, they're actually 2 one-way tracks overlapped. I'll look into it.

Should work with all two-way single tracks, like Railway 1, 2, Narrow, etc. BP's One-Way Train Tracks mod is not technically required, you can skip it if you don't need its tracks.

Using the Harmony fork with the Harmony Report seemed to report no Harmony-dependent mod causing that error, so I suspected it was a mod not dependent on Harmony interfering with it.

However, the error seems to go away after verifying the files to force update all mods, therefore it appears this was not an issue with this mod either way.

This mod doesn't use Harmony, therefore that error message is not caused by this mod. As far as I can tell it is compatible with Airports DLC.
