I believe I've made a horrible choice of choosing the guardian jump drive fot the automated dreadnought. The ship won't move out of the system! How do I change that?

hmm.. the mod still works.. but there's something buggy..

I tested this mod to see whether this mod works post 2.0.. I defeated Ether Drake and gain a White Ether Drake that I choose.. it works.. but it's spees is very very slow.. slower than titan

@Crusader Vanguard As someone who only recently got their computer back up and running after literal MONTHS without it due to multiple reasons, I feel your pain. I'm unsure if I can help here, but just in case you MIGHT be suffering the same problem I am having, I'll go ahead and post it up.

If you are having random blue screens for seemingly no reason at no set time, or possibly when trying to watch stuff on youtube (It happened a LOT when I did that) Have issues like it saying it couldn't access your user data (Aka you try and log in and it makes a temp account for you because it can't get in) And other stuff like that, it could possibly be the motherboard. That's the issue mine turned out to have.

That update Won't have much of a effect on the mod to my knowledge it would most likely just be a stupid red exclamation point

@[GRC]Emporer Xenpatine - I think that’s one of the “unique” messages you can get. Are you playing as GC? A Hive Mind/Machine Empire?

Unfortunately either way there is nothing I can do for you right now. My PC has a BSOD that I cannot solve so right now I’m without a PC, never mind my files. Which is made funnier my the closing release of the 2.0 update. As soon as I get my PC back up, I’ll look into this, but right now I’m not sure if I want to port this. It is hell to maintain never mind update.

@xnasu27 - Yes, they have been designed to have more powerful weaponry (especially the mouth beam) but less durability versus their “grown” counterparts.

@Forrestaubrey - I'm hoping to actually remove the "multiple" feature all together somehow. The multiplayer support (more than one player needing the same Guardian) and the AI coverage support (if the AI beats the Guardian it isn't lost to you), but I need to make sure I do it right and it works.

If all else fails, I'll install an option to "deactivate" the safeguard.

the constant respawing of the guardians i havent defeated is all little annoyning. mainly because the exact same empirs keep defeating them, giving them constant access to really good worlds. Looking at you ether drake. Be able to turn of guardian respawn would be nice.

@Michel3345 - Do you have any other Fortress mods? Like ones that change the Fortress techs in any way? That might explain that one.

There is a vanilla automated Dreadnought if you spawn one in. Once you defeat it you should get the option to rebuild it. That's the one I mean.

@Michel3345 - Under normal curcumstances, no. There is a "loophole" I left, which if you can figure out, will allow you to get ALL the Guardians ONCE if you are smart about it. Outside of that, you can get one Playable Guardian plus the vanilla Automated Dreadnought and the Baby Drake. The Carrack Pirate Galleon is also a "free" second if you get another Guardian first.

@Celepito - Yes, in fact, this was SUPPOSE to happen in the vanilla game, but Paradox has more errors than I can count in that file, and I'm sure I haven't found most of them. If you cannot tell you are entering the Ether Drake system, consider it "realism." LOL. The Drake will move back to its system once it does a "pass," and if it "remains" in your system, that's a glitch I need to fix (but I believe this was resolved weeks ago). But no, this is how the Drake was suppose to behave from the get-go.

Does this mod change Guardian behaviour? Since I installed it, every time I finde the Ether Drake at the beginning of the game it moves to my home system and destroyes everything there. Is that normal?

@Everyone - Updated Playable Guardians with NSC's new (and now hopefully even better improved) fleet formation spacing. We believe this setup will allow all ships to not pile up on each other but also not have eveyrthing so far spread out that the back half of the fleet never engages in battle.

Only I just used console to kill it, so that it respawned.

@aschergoodrich - If they AI got there first, it should have recongized that, destroyed the ship, and then spawns again elsewhere. It actually started more to defend against the system ending up in FE space.

I had someone else not long ago tell me that the AI attack it destroyed the ship like I mentioned above. I hate it when glitches do both. LOL I'll have to figure it out later though.

Just a heads up, the pirate guardian still stays there and nothing happens if the AI gets it first. It just says that it's disabled and needs to be repaired but I cant do anything. Made me so sad lol
