Could this be used(hacked) as an extreme version of the long seasons ?

Just set two versions of the incident, both on repeat, one makes it hotter, one makes i colder, then offset them slightly so they change?

I guess this would require "repeat and duration" to be setable to not have them negate each other?

But cool idea.

Does a planet flying away from its star also get darker? If not i think that should most certainly be added. Also, how fast does the planet become freezing/on fire? I'd like to try a tribal run with this on. Thanks!

nice! this is something i've been working on myself but you finished it earlier so i don't have to do it
@orpheus you could use dev mode to simulate a "random" occurance if you want it to happen in an old savegame

So, it just raises or lowers the tempature at a set pace? Nothing like instant firey death after a point?

Has to be set, if you want a random occurance use my other mod, orbit shifts too, they work together.

Thanks - looking forward to trying this out. Can it occur randomly, or does it happen only if set as part of a scenario?
