Should automatically appear in your mod list when you boot up Civ 5 but the workshop can be inconsistent with that sometimes.
Nice!
No, it's like the Hanging Gardens (which provides a free Garden without needing to be next to a river).
I think it's based of Reagan's pet project: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_Defense_Initiative
I'm not sure if XML will allow you to create negative culture :P
I initially wanted to do just that but there are already a few mods that add the Large Hadron Collider on here and I really didn't have any different ideas to what has already been published.
Thanks, introduce away!
Thanks, I'm quite happy with the splash screens, naturally I can't take credit for the icons!
Thanks for the suggestion, not a bad idea but since I'm largely limited to existing effects in the game, I could only really make something that increases GP generation or a free GP, which I feel wouldn't be that interesting at that point in the game (plus the existing Hubble Telescope already gives 2 free Great Sciencists).
Yeah, I kinda felt the same but all other wonders in the Information Era and most in the Atomic Era only give +1 GPP and the other effects are quite powerful. Maybe I'll look at tweaking with more testing.
Thanks. From what I've tested, I don't think you can add mods to existing games unfortunately. As for modding units, I got all the information I needed from the tutorials over in the CivFanatics forums: https://forums.civfanatics.com/forums/civ5-creation-customization.393/ - you could also download another one of my mods, which adds new scouting units and examine the code for yourself.
Whilst I can't be 100% certain, I would imagine so as my mod only adds new buildings to certain tech, it doesn't change any existing things - so long as the tech still exists and hasn't been renamed behind the scenes (which doesn't look like Future Worlds does) then it should be fine. Naturally, combine at your own risk.
Also do you know modding for making units? I want to add some additional units to the game but I have no idea how to mod or who can help.
Maybe the production value number is a little too high, perhaps I'll test some more on some longer games. Any recommended value?
Thanks but sorry I don't, hard enough getting my own ideas to work! More than welcome to share yours though.
Can i make a request?
Any wonder in particular or all of them? I figured since most games are more or less finished by the Information Era, you don't get as much use out of their effects as others but yeah, maybe a little!
Appreciated!
