yes, you can

Hello is it possible to use your mod with Industrial overhaul mods ?
kinngrimm 14 ian. 2024 la 12:03
kk thx for your time
nukeguard  [autor] 14 ian. 2024 la 11:56
subtype names proper mod construction
kinngrimm 14 ian. 2024 la 11:20
skins are not modable 0_0 damn that sounds like a huge oversight on behalf of keen

what does done right mean, load order?
nukeguard  [autor] 14 ian. 2024 la 11:02
If done right they shouldn't overwrite other mods ores. If we had access to skins we could make a skin with marble and then all the blocks could have it.
kinngrimm 14 ian. 2024 la 10:11
To safe on PCU and performance could you provide additionally larger versions of these blocks?

Do you have other mods in preparation that use marble? having it just for these seems a bit of a wasted potential. Same situation as with concrete, i had first one mod installed and then installed all concrete mods ^^

if i have other mods adding new ressource, would they still be added or do such mods overwrite each other usually?
DEMONVIA 10 aug. 2023 la 17:48
perfect! cheers for the quick response, much appreciated mate.
nukeguard  [autor] 10 aug. 2023 la 17:45
you can add to an existing world, any undiscovered asteroids should have marble in them, anything already mined or found will not
DEMONVIA 10 aug. 2023 la 17:12
Can i add this mod to an existing world? or do i need to start it again in order to spawn?
Wyn 3 apr. 2021 la 12:32
@Blaquestone Ok, that was highly informative. Thanks! will keep that in mind for the future.
Rhasmoth 31 mart. 2021 la 13:11
@Wyn As soon as you have two mods that alter ore spawning, the two are incompatible. The marble objects you can create will appear in creative, but the ore map of one mod will override the other (depending on load order). Since Better Stone adds different types of stone that can be found and mined, it definitely modifies the same file this does. Each planet has a definitions file that includes all ores that spawn, so that's why I'm merging More Stone Types, Shale Oil (and now this Marble mod, too). If I don't condense the three mods into a single file, they'll all try to override each other.
nukeguard  [autor] 31 mart. 2021 la 3:54
I have no idea, never used that mod
Wyn 30 mart. 2021 la 12:41
Does this work with the Better Stone mod by DranKof?
nukeguard  [autor] 30 mart. 2021 la 9:09
you can add to the pack
Rhasmoth 29 mart. 2021 la 13:13
I've been working on an overhaul type mod that combines More Stone Types with Shale Oil; I've also received permission to add Industrial Overhaul, though I'm holding off on that end until I've got more experience with it. Happened across this randomly, wondered how I never saw it before! Would you mind me packaging this with the one I'm working on? It won't be soon, as I'm custom-tailoring roughly 20 custom planets, but this would be a fun addition for the aesthetic players!
The Erubian Warlord 26 febr. 2021 la 22:12
if your looking for ideas for build stages you could make them as layers basing the thickness on your stairs with a basic metal scaffold preceding each stage so it wold be

place block = metal scaffold of the first three steps.
first weld stage = first three steps are marbled steps 4 through 6 are scaffold.
second weld stage = 1>6 marble 7>9 scaffold. etc

you know if you care to next time you update them
Ryker 19 aug. 2020 la 8:40
noice
nukeguard  [autor] 17 aug. 2020 la 21:34
yep, what Anarch said, It's really nice when you set it to a gold or silver like color :-)
Anarch Cassius 17 aug. 2020 la 19:45
Yes. The main marble itself is always white but the marbling lines recolor based on the selected paint color. It's a subtle but very fun use of the recolor system.
Ryker 21 iul. 2020 la 7:36
are the marble blocks colorable?
RKS-GameTech 30 iun. 2020 la 18:22
nice
nukeguard  [autor] 30 iun. 2020 la 17:18
yes it does
RKS-GameTech 29 iun. 2020 la 10:31
Does this still work?
Streuwinkel 21 mai 2020 la 15:28
Not that I plan on using this mod, but the idea and looks are great.
nukeguard  [autor] 16 mai 2020 la 19:36
I need to update again, i'll have a look at weight again
stujlaird 16 mai 2020 la 8:28
Are the Polished Marble Slabs supposed to be 200 litres and 200kg each? Seems to make it rather impractical in Survival (though, since the component needed to build is the girder, not the slab, if I only want the look of it and not survivability, I could leave them barely built, I guess...
nukeguard  [autor] 31 dec. 2019 la 7:33
haha, yea this one has been on workshop for some time
Skallabjorn 30 dec. 2019 la 16:32
( as Skal begins re creating the Who Mourns For Adonis set )
Skallabjorn 30 dec. 2019 la 16:31
What rock have I been under that I have not seen this before... epic, love it
Anarch Cassius 13 mart. 2019 la 13:32
Nevermind, I missed the Unfinished Marble Slabs being seperate from the Polished Ones.
Anarch Cassius 11 mart. 2019 la 16:26
So, it seems you can't make Marble Slabs because they require Marble Slabs instead of unfinished Marble https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198087536722/screenshot/982253708688502890

Also I'm a bit skeptical of this even occurring in asteroids given how marble forms... but I've seen it from meteorites and that definitely seems a bit much.

Otherwise everything is awesome and I hope I can actually work marble soon. :)
Dark_but_Good 23 febr. 2018 la 3:59
Is this mod compatible with Better Stone v6.9.1? I've been playing a moded save with both this mod and Better Stone v6.9.1 on and I have found no marble anywhere.
Anarch Cassius 20 ian. 2018 la 11:48
@All of North Korea, have you seen Aerosabe's concrete mod? It's cheap, heavy and slightly stronger than light armor. Perfect for base building. Even uses girder with the slabs like this mod.
Discord Moderator Toe Fungus 6 ian. 2018 la 8:34
Could you make a stone brick version of this? I'd like a better use of stone other than gravel. Potentially use it for large, yet cheap defensive walls. Would be nice to have.
nukeguard  [autor] 7 oct. 2017 la 21:21
Have any shapes in mind?
JDaremo Fireheart 7 oct. 2017 la 18:02
Hope you are adding more shapes to this.
The Masonic emblem is a nice touch
ARAURA 22 iul. 2017 la 10:27
Would be super awesome if there was a light armour version of this.
Fenrii 17 iul. 2017 la 15:24
I will be very happy if we can use this mod without custom ores as an alternative version, the fact that you are willing to consider it makes me happy! :D Your blocks are really great... Of course prefectly fine with me if vanilla material crafting costs are high.
Azirahael 17 iul. 2017 la 15:08
"Also, this ore spawns on any newly discovered asteroids even in already exsisting worlds." ah. didn't know that. Will go look :P
nukeguard  [autor] 17 iul. 2017 la 14:26
Also, this ore spawns on any newly discovered asteroids even in already exsisting worlds.
nukeguard  [autor] 17 iul. 2017 la 14:25
I may add that, but make it take much longer to get marble from gravel.
Azirahael 17 iul. 2017 la 1:52
I'd like it of we could use gravel for this stuff.
Fenrii 14 iul. 2017 la 20:35
I don't suppoes we could see an alternative version of this mod that does not add new ore and allows crafting of these blocks out of some original materials. This would be great as a lite version with more accessibility for already existing worlds.
nukeguard  [autor] 22 iun. 2017 la 16:10
you'll have to manually add the ore to planets, I have found out that it doesn't spawn on planets but I have to make a modded planet for it to spawn on. I will not spawn on placed planets either unfortunately.
Google 22 iun. 2017 la 1:08
Try pasting earth in a empty world
claudeklineiii 21 iun. 2017 la 20:01
i'm having trouble finding marble on the planet, i loaded the mod then dropped in an earth like planet but can't seem to find anything
nukeguard  [autor] 17 iun. 2017 la 17:31
thanks for the mod review :-)
Ranos 17 iun. 2017 la 13:57
It looks really good. Good for making interesting buildings or some odd looking ships. Any way, here is a mod review I did of it;
