@domincawb I did some work that does that, remote targeting using a camera. You can even send the coordinates to a different ship. Here is the script. I also did some sample vehicles https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1793452866

every time i use the remote control and launch the game crashes... is ther some one can update this whole mod ... its one of my top favorites ...

lock on to gps doesn't work, if it can only work by pointing at its target. that kinda defeats the purpous of vertical launch

Some of the features seem to be non-functional/broken, however the GPS guidance options are still alive and well. This mod needs some love badly.

Cant weld the payload guidance block. we need a guidance block that does not clip into other blocks.

What we really need is a block just like this, with this whole set in mind, that is basically just an AI flight block pre-configured to chase or intercept.

yes, initializing the remote control block is falling, and world is not loading.
There was change in KEEN code, need to adapt the script.

has anybody had luck with using the GPS Area Lock? GPS Mode works just fine for me, but the above mode just shoots off into a straight line. I am trying to use it for an ICBM kind of missile

is there a way to make them fly in a ballistic ark for ICBMs?
i tried making ICBMs and the kept crashing into ground because they flew in a straight line and wouldn't avoid the ground.

One more thing is that my guidance blocks don't seem to be detecting/turning off the hardpoint. Not sure why, but would appreciate a look at.

Is there any reason why this block shows on my hud when in a cockpit connected to the grid? It's kind of annoying but if it can't be changed then it's fine. Would love an option to turn that off if possible.

I'm having the missile miss unless basically pointed directly at the target.

I tried playing around with the proportional navigation constant. I was launching from one land-based target and trying to hit another, via the missile's front lock on. At 10km, the default value of 10 causes a 1km overshoot. At 10km, a constant of 50 seems to work. Yet at 50km, this causes a 2-km overshoot.

From my understanding, the proportional navigation constant shouldn't require adjustment. Could you please look into this?

i may not be the creator of this mod, but i do understand it fairly well. Glide Mode, if i had to guess, is meant for bombers if i'm not mistaken. There are 2 gps modes. 1 you enter gps cords and it flies, and the other should be similar to like the remote control block for setting waypoints. If you make sure to tag everything accordingly, then you shouldn't have any problems getting detachment. If everything is tagged correctly, then make sure your guidance setting are set right. Some wont disconnect if no target lock.

I would like to know if I could get this mode to work instead of detaching from a merge block you could get it to disconnected from a hinge. Id pay to have this change made. DM if interested

i LOVE this mod y'all made, it's amazing. just one thing, i was trying to make it to where the missile drop out of the bomb bay of my bomber before blasting off and it didn't work, i tried everything and i could figure it out. it would be awesome if y'all made a module for that so i could do the classic "cruise missile dropping out the bomber then flying off" thing you see in military photage, tho i understand if y'all don't want to.

The mod works well mostly, but.

It seems it doesn't do well with Aerodynamic Physics (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=571920453) . Air seems to not affect the missile craft much, however it fails often with AP enabled. Tested it a few dozen times with and without AP with target distanced 500m upwards with slight offset. Lock-on ensured obviously.

It does hit the target if launched directly at, but when launched with small offset - it starts circling the target again and again until the battery runs out or it collides with terrain. The missile has everything it needs: a few gyros and thrusters at all directions except for forward. Built with only Torpedo parts from the mod mentioned in the description.

Thanks for the mod. I understand that making this work with Aerodynamic Physics would take a lot of effort and personally I don't expect the dev to do it. I'm just providing feedback. It must've taken a lot of time to implement the mod. So thank you.

Hiya, i have aerodynamics installed which means that when i fire the missile in atmo, the missile will burnup because of its speed. Is there anyway to adjust the code in order to set the max speed to something smaller? thanks.

Does this just not work anymore , seems like it works up until i click launch and it just gets stuck in launching but doesnt actually do anything
