How do I actually build SIR infantry? It just says I need a resource for it, but it is not clear where you get such resources

I would have liked that some units got more men like the Kachi, the Ronin,... because it's not very useful when played with Ultra numbers (if there's a way to add modded units number i want it)

You forgot to mod the Tosa rifleman's range and penetration. it's range stays at 195 and can't penetrate hero samurai's armor

I've also discovered uniform colors for an unexplained reason no longer work. Almost everything texture and map wise seems broken for no reason.

The custom maps from the mod do not load, only vanilla maps. Not even the other Fall of the Samurai siege maps mod. Anyone have a solution?

Love this mod for FOTS. A great way to increase content for the game without cramming the campaign map full of settlements. finding it to be a nice challenge compared to vanilla and the campaign is progressing differently. thanks for the hard work :KneelingBow:

@SirCartonDeWiart Sengoku Campaign is the normal Total War: Shogun 2 Campaign, @Engineer WeierStrass has another mod also titled Master of Strategy for it, I've never played either though.

Presumably this is adaptation of his mod for FOTS

I was playing some custom battles and found the new artillery to a be a bit underwhelming, like it lack explosive shells or anything so the vanilla guns just seem to be better.

To fix any issues with UI etc. you need to delete your Shogun 2 folder in appdata, reinstall the game completey.

I do not get boatyard shipbuilding. Do ships require bricks? But i have those. Can't build wooden kaiten due to resource missing.

I have the same problem as Gunner1979, the descriptions are all messed up and the research screen too. The different towns (farm, port and main city) exist so I guess most of the mod is working but the state the UI is a glitched in such a way that this is unplayable sadly.

Nice job for the mod, I really like the depth added!

However, the AI is always building traditional town. Have you planned to modify it please?

Also, as it is not possible to dismantle the town and so on, I'm kind of stuck with the traditional building..

So I was trying to upgrade the Criminal Den and Brothel to Richi Mahjong Palor, and the requirement was Crafts. I already got the Luxurious Craft Workshop, but for some reason can't upgrade it; the building still got greyed out like I was still missing the resource. Anyone got in the same problem?

Ok i found my problem but now i get another Problem ingame that some Buildings have no description on it do i need to Play the Game in english to see Buildings and description? The only thing i see when i hover over some building Tabs is the Description it is Black and only stand City in it nothing more.

Is it just me or are warship smokestacks not making that much smoke?? It hurts my eyes to see ironclads moving with no coal being put out through them

This mod can be fun but it's pretty easy to snowball hard in this mod compared to vanilla FOTS, considering by the time I finished my campaign, I was already making about 100k Koku per turn on minimum taxes, despite having at least 16 full army stacks made up of mainly Republican Infantry along side other supporting units and at least 16 full fleet stacks made up of Frigates. If it wasn't for unit caps, it would be very easy to just flood the map with troops. The early game is more difficult compared to vanilla due to unit caps but the late game is much easier than vanilla FOTS due to the AI only using traditional armies and being able to get to a point where you end up making more koku per turn than you know what to do with.

For example, with the exception of rebellions (which only used wooden cannons), I never saw a single piece of artillery on the enemy side, which makes battles very one-sided in favor of the player, considering the only real problem you had to worry was running out of ammo before you killed or routed everyone. The AI also had no idea how to make ships that weren't the Kanko Maru (The worst corvette in the game, armed with only 3 cannons per broadside) or gunboats till at least turn 150, because the AI didn't know how to make the specific buildings needed to make stronger vessels till then (I never saw a single frigate or ironclad fielded by the AI, in fact I never even saw a iron-plated or copper-plated ship either).

Finished my campaign as a Republic, apparently the issue I had before with not getting Heavy Machinery was because too many clans were trading with the west so apparently there weren't enough Heavy Machinery to go around.

As for the mod itself, there are some glaring issues that have to be fixed with the Pack File Manager unfortunately, such as the Arms Factory not providing the actual resource needed to build Carbine Cav and Guard Infantry and it's impossible to recruit more than one Shinobi without modifying the stats of certain buildings to increase capacity for example. Another issue is the AI itself. For some reason, every single AI clan prioritizes being traditional over modern.

another campaign and few ships without canons destroyed my farm and main bulding .... instant negative public order and famine gg bowman from ship can shoot arrows with distance of few tens of metres and destroyng everything ... unplayable ... fix that sht
