I'm currently working on it with another user. When 1.0 is a bit more stable we'll chuck it out, but it's still in the works. We're bringing it into an industrofeudal tech level and adding some new items to boot.

It's been 8 months since anyone's asked, ETA on 1.X build? The game should be pretty stable now and updates shouldn't have to come as often, so a final update should leave it running for a long time.

Hi all. From now on this mod will be maintained by Xen. He is currently working to update it as I don't have time to now. I'll let you know when it's available there - but don't worry, it's still my baby so muh lore is safe. :)

Thanks for all the positive comments about the mod! I'm glad they could do your colonies lots of favours and they should in the future. When I inevitably have more time on the future I'll work with Xen on github to collaborate on making some new features :>

This is the most grammatically correct fox-related mod that I could find. (Mistakes in grammar in games tend to really pull me out of the game, so this is a great mod for me.)

just be patient, it will come soon enough. as a general rule of thumb if youre really into mods in rimworld after it updates wait for a month and check in, by then most mods that will be updated are gonna be updated. after another month any mods left unupdated are probably gonna stay that way. its what i do whenever the game updates and it usually works.

Not sure if this is a bug or feature request, but looks like Leeani can't accept any of the augmentations from GeneticRim.

Hey, I may be doing sopmething wrong here but i cannot install any type of jaw to the leeani. i have a few with damaged jaws anbd they cant6 eat or talk well but neither the simple or bionic jaw will work with them. i do have the patches installed as well

No, the bookcase will apply the advantage to the research bench no matter who uses it, but only Leeani can research Leeani technologies.

Does the throne actually do anything? I read in the description something about appreciation, but other than increasing beauty I don't see any actual affects. Haven't even seen anyone sit in it.

For some reason, my foxman cannot wear vanilla shield belts (it says missing body part, the same with ballistic shields introduced in Combat Extended, maybe cuz of CE). Can we have CE compatibility patch?

concerning the "leeani only' research, im able to do it when i play as the argonian race. Since it's possible to have actual leeani join up later, i don't really see a problem with unrestricting it. I woud advise changing the text for the researches though, an example would be "The Leeani race took to modernization well, with street lamps lighting up their Holds within a few years. Unlocks streetlamp item" etc etc. Thank you very much for making this mod, i adore teh floofs.
Oh, and for osme reason most Leeani who join for some reason usually have the traits sanguine, kind, and either beautiful or pacifist. could just be a coincidence

I love having this race mod, it makes things interesting with potential colony members needing different climate control, but I'd love an option to remove the tech tree and the brewing. I run into issues with advancing tech levels through mods with that extra, highly contextual and nearly entirely redundant (with stuff like vegetable garden) tech tree.

Archive gives no research bonus for simple researchc bench. Also, it is not documented that you can link two archives to one research bench.

Ah, another thing. When you making a crashlanded start, you can get leeani pawns, but they start with some crazy stuff. And pawns who can join randomy too. I got a refugee in a power armor with a pulse rifle (or something like that, was few days ago) joined me on second day in explorer start. She was chased by a solitary man with a club, who was torn apart in a moment.

BTW, other races can wear bycocket, but it has clipping issues. Maybe put a restriction to avoid necessity to make a separate outfit assignments for non-leeani?

As for OP speed, can be balanced by setting smaller body size. Something like 0.7 would be fitting, since 0.9 is not much of a difference, considering almost double speed.

Ok, updated - all that stuff changed. Medieval tech level for both your and AI factions, quarterstaff damage nerfed (speed increased a tad), and grape juice and berries will rot.

Quarterstaves can't be made out of metal, no. Intentional, as sometimes the starting one would be like, uranium or some crap.

Having also both used quarterstaves and longswords, the biggest difference is reach - if you do get hit by a longsword it should do more damage, yes, the point of reach (which I admit can't be shown well in RW) is to not get hit. Anyway, I'll nerf things and change things and all will be well. Mostly.

As for Quarterstaves vs. longswords, I would have to disagree. I've trained with longswords, spears, and staves, and both weapons have thier pros and cons. Since there's no room to have a weapons debate, I'll simply say that, balance wise, I feel quaterstaves should have faster rate of attack, but lonswords should definitly do more damage per swing. Anyway, quaterstaves arn't as much an issue for me as the tech level, and grapejuice/berry juice never rotting. I also can't seem to make quaterstaves out of anything but wood, regardless of what bench I use. But again, these are personal gripes, and I'm not demanding you change anything for my sake. Just trying to offer feedback to a fellow creator. You have a good mod here, and I do appreciate you put the time into it that you have.

Yah, the naming thing is an issue with the core files. Don't know what's going on but it will allow me to name it sometimes and just leave it "village" at others. This is with all mods off so it's definintly Core.
