This mod appears to cause other players in multiplayer to regularly desync. This isn't that big of an issue, since the players will just reconnect and see everything once more, but it is certainly an inconvenience.

@infixo That makes perfect sense. I'm just fairly new to mods, so I'm not comfortable downloading untested stuff. I was just really excited by the idea of adding even more stuff to the game. That's all. I appreciate your quick response! And obviously you should only do the work if there's something in it for you. I didn't mean to offend.

@ravenmistwolf Please read the note in the box.
This mod is extremely complex and thorough testing is a huge cost for me. If you are willing to spend time and playtest it with GS then please do so. If you find issues and report them back then I might fix them, assuming they are easily fixable.
However, if noone wants to spend time on playtesting it with GS then I see no reason why should I.

Since GS and Apocalypse Mode added new natural disasters, not all of these are new to the game anymore. BUT there are a couple that I would really like to play with (such as the earthquakes and tsunami). But since I already have GS and Frontier Pass and this hasn't been tested with those, I don't want to risk messing up my game. I'd be SUPER grateful if you could test it with these newer updates/expansions and release a version for that. You have excellent ideas that I'd love to enjoy!

@temida This is not a "feature" that can enabled or disabled. I think it is a result of the hot seat mode. It doesn't happen in a single player games. I won't be able to fix it, sorry.

When dissaster happens somewhere (multyplayer hotseat), it reveales map part and player that I did not discover.
Can I disable this?

@jimbo Should be working now with CQUI. Just disable ML in that case. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with Earthquake resources - I see the normal texts.

@jimbo CQUI is being updated, so there could be some changes that eventually could conflict with RND, specifically the integrated More Lenses mod. I don’t maintain RND on a regular basis, it became a bit outdated due to GS, so I cannot promise a quick fix for that, sorry.

Seems like there's a conflict of sorts with CQUI... in that I had no way to bring up the CQUI interface (peace pipe) in-game with this mod running. Also, there was a strange bug with the earthquake epicenter resource... hovering over the tile, there was some strange text that I couldn't quite make out.

@temida No MP on multiple computers - it will desync for sure. Hotseat should be ok, but I never tested it. You need to try yourself.

I really like the disaster tweak options, and I've kinda gotten used to the popup instead of the animation/etc, but meteor strikes break builder's ability to improve tiles and many of the bonuses are temporary. I think I'm going to give this one a pass.

The mod uses extensively random number, it will cause desyncs in MP.

Great mod. I wonder is this mod support multiplayer? My multiplayer games always desync and crash while playing with frds. All my frds info related to disasters are wrong.

Great mod, I tested it for some time in GS and I had no issues. But I see some comments on crashes in GS. So I wonder is this safe to use with GS?

Also I hear that volcano and earthquake maybe is the reason for crashes, and Floods is in GS, so is it possible to remove/disable this events?

I do like the range of disasters. It adds in some that GS really should have included, there's an earthquake in the intro video even but they don't do earthquakes!

A suggestion for your next update is to tweak the ui a bit for the disasters. Atm its a bit clunky and it can be hard to know what disasters are happening where. Coordinates are stated but its difficult if at all possible to use those, it also doesn't auto-zoom to disasters. You just get an overwhelming report list of every effect. Maybe have this be collapsible to different types of effect like pillaging or unit damage. It doesn't read very well and often the only idea you have about a disaster is a pop-up. It doesn't make the disasters feel a serious part of your game because you have difficulty being aware of them. Flooding is particularly hard to keep track of.

Good things to work on:
-A general update for GS
-Zoom to disasters
-Maybe a more visual effect for disasters when they trigger
-Some general ui improvements

When I see your mod, I thought about some weather features based onto your presented changes.
Like having foggy tiles where you can't see units even if your units are nearby.
or heavy rainy tiles where combat bonus or malus are given to units.
they can change every turn.
if you have no idea what to do next....

i just had a flood down a river i had built a damn, which prevents flood damage down said river which killed populace and destroyed several tile improvements in districts. it it supposed to do that?

I don't understand why this mod has to load together with More Lens --- seems to me all the disaster functions exist standalone in this mod
More Lens makes my game very slow in latter stages
takes forever to use a builder unit ;(

@timelord Very weird behavior, indeed. Can you provide logs pls? Maybe there would be something useful, especially in lua.log. Also, since you mentioned 7Seas, and it was added recently, then what ruleset are you running? 'Cos I never tested the mod for Gathering Storm.

Had a weird bug where the map was slowly being overtaken by the "site of a natural disaster" tile improvement. I was growing one tile at a time from an earthquake which kept popping up every turn with the same original date. Was playing on the Seven Seas mapscript though i also had several other mods which may have caused this issue.
