I'm having a problem with the chunk bin--it lists a max of 54 stacks in the contents tab when selected, but it won't accept more than 6 chunks. In the XML, maxItemsInCell is set to 9, which checks (6 cells x 9 = 54); it seems like it's only allowing 1 item per cell.

I'm using Adaptive Storage Framework, and am wondering if that's the issue. Will report back if I figure it out.

If you're seeing a bunch of errors on startup with this mod, try adding XMLExtensions. This mod uses it to control some of its patches but doesn't have it as a dependency.

I have a bunch of mods going at once so I'm not sure if it's native behavior, but putting bodies in the corpse locker has their sprites poking out around the edges.

Then change <building> to <building Inherit="False"> in Buildings_Storage.xml files.

Oh wow, looking into it has this been ported to 1.4 properly? Isn't the folder supposed to be named just "1.4", not "V1.4"?

Am I the only one who has the crate building appear upside-down? The graphic for the crate is flipped vertically for some reason. It looks normal in the architect menu, but if I build one...

Thought I'd give a heads up, but I am getting errors from this storage mod, plus for some reason whenever I build new "crates" the texture is turned upside down, though older crates are still look correct which further confuses me lol

Disclaimer: I did add this with a game already in progress. However, the link above is with all other mods (except Hugslib and its logging sub-mod) active.

I will also be testing it with a fresh colony to see if the errors still occur.

@Mr Mcnificent Read the comments. But like to run an error free game, or as close as possible to it. Cuts down on issues. And part of that is running mods that are relevant to the current build. I had removed this mod due to it not being current, but need the Corpse Locker for my game play. Though wish @cucumpear would rename it to Mortuary Chamber. :steamthumbsup:

This should now work fine out of the box, but if you used the 1.3 version in 1.4 saves it might throw errors on load.

@Datastorm, it works fine in 1.4
making the changes to the file as LionelCG has said will just make them use 1.4 shelving stacks.

It works fine on 1.4. If you want triple stacks search for this line in BuildingsStorage.xml:
<preventDeteriorationOnTop>true</preventDeteriorationOnTop>

Simply replace all with:
<preventDeteriorationOnTop>true</preventDeteriorationOnTop><maxItemsInCell>3</maxItemsInCell>

The storage items don't show in my architect menu do I have to unlock some tech or something?

Bigger stacksize would make sense though. After all I can have multiple shelf-levels, while on the ground, the pile can only so big until you cant acces the stuff on the ground.
It wouldn't be op aswell, because you loose the storage space of the floor tile where your pawn run inbetween the shelves

@baronjutter I don't believe so. I've only tried a wooden crate and rack to store steel, but neither let the stacks go any higher. I'm not going to keep testing, seems like a waste of resources to me. Just something for looks with no real benefits.

I'm pretty sure it's this mod, but it could be Deeper Storage, regardless, the weapons locker and apparel shelf do not seem to hold a lot of weight.

Additionally, I'm having trouble getting weapons out of the lockers now. I can see them in the storage, but when I right-click it with a pawn selected, I only have the option to equip one weapon.

I was so bewildered when I started a 1.3 game and couldn't find any storage options beyond the vanilla shelf. That's how often I play with and how much I love this mod. I hope it gets updated for 1.3 :)

This mod creates a second category also called "Storage" in my architects menu. Unsubscribing from this mod removed that second category.

Using this mod together with deep storage causes "storage" tab in architect menu to be doubled, but all the crates and shelves in first one, second is empty. I think, it is a bug, not feature? )

Can anyone tell me where to find the nesting boxes or how to build them? They don´t show up under furniture in the architect and I researched advanced furniture which unlocks them.

@nhatanh0475 I think you misunderstand the purpose of this mod. Its not to give you any game advantage its simply to provide you with more ways to customize the look and feel of your colony. Seem people are real big in designing realistic or cool or beautiful colonies.

Still wondering about the performance impact of using 30 single cell storage areas vs 1 30 cell storage area though...

This mod is kinda Useless when the only thing it does is increase the beauty and not increase the Stack Item when place on it. Using Storage zone and this waste the same space.

Do these types of mods decrease overall performance? I know in the past like A11 these types of mods essentially just created 1x1 storage areas which resulted in a lot of extra cpu time for basic operations. I know the game and mods have come along way since A11 though.

I haven't used any ivory mods so I wasn't aware that they don't work by default. I would have expected ivory to just be classified as a "woody" or "stony" material, since that would work with other mods out of the box.

I'm planning to look into mod options for several mods, but I don't have the time or energy to do this atm. :(
