I love the design of this ship, it screams I N D U S T R Y from the top of its oxygen tanks!
The way you sculpted the sections is awesome, beautiful and actually practical . (I particularly adore the refinery and assembler section.)

The spinning issue does not come from the rotors not being locked, and not even from imperfect double rotor displacement (you have it at the best possible -0.4).
It comes from both the rear atmo bay forward rotor attachment points colliding with the third atmospheric thrusters and creating clang there.

TO STOP THE VIOLENT ROTATING delete the most forward atmo thruster from the rear 3 thruster cluster!

To stop the slow tiny inching of the ship, detach just one of each thruster bay rotor. The ship will become completely stable and will look as if it has proper double attachments.

All hail CLANG, for he is mighty and hidden in each project!

mighty brankor... The space engineering version of bmw. Behold the power of German space engineering, well done once again sir

to build this ship in survival you need to copy the blueprints seperate in creative and make extra blueprints for the atmos thruster and other components that are connect by rotor and pistons. But I would prefer them to build in space to move the extra parts with small ships to the rotor and connect.

@[WTFH] ragnar_greymane I too would like to build this in survival, but how do you plan on welding it completlely as in all its grids? I would like to know because I encountered the problem where the projector excludes all but main grid of the ship and now I cannot fully construct the ship.
OculusApertum Apr 5, 2017 @ 10:20pm
@Mighty Brankor Love the build, dude, it's great! I especially love the angled atmospheric thrusters; they add a lot of depth and aesthetic twist to an otherwise wholly industrial/utilitarian design.
I also love the inclusion of non-hydrogen thrust on the most needed directions, e.g. downwards, forwards and backwards; it's always a piss-off for me when a ship is a little *too* dependent on hydrogen, in part because my brain immediately goes worst-case scenario; at best, your ship's a dead duck that's just lucky it landed in one piece. :P At worst, you run out of fuel midflight and plummet to your doom. :P
Tbh, same for uranium; albeit a bit less so, heheh. :) Still, I always love a ship that has the option to just plonk a solar panel on and recharge enough for basic function for free if I ever end up truly needing it, and this ship having that option just further adds to that utilitarian feel, as even when the scrap hits the turbine it clearly walks what it talks. Great job!

@Kittykondo Are you *sure* you speak English? :P XD

2. super Schiff

An excellent design, tough a bit wasteful =), meaning a few less grinders and other components might do the job just fine - thinking of building it in survival. Just getting the idea of modular blueprint and addition components, like basic facilities and later manual installable updates. This excellent designs multitude of redundant components looks fascinating for such an approach. And if you want to have the comment in german, bitte sehr.

Your grinder pit reminds me of the mighty Sarlacc - hat tip. Very nice work!
Mighty Brankor  [author] Apr 4, 2017 @ 2:09pm
@schwarzengel. :)

@noahwhygodwhy
Google translatet. Air-tight is better as just only airlock. Forgive my bad english :)
Schwarzengel Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:49pm
Vielleicht studieren Sie auch Bauingenieurwesen?
Schwarzengel Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:37pm
