Idealy the mapmakers that create these tracks will take some of the criticism they receive and use it to improve. Although I disagree with California that the tracks need to "embrace distance," there is certainly room to grow. One of the best ways to improve these maps, in my opinion, is to have them be around the "standard" map length and to avoid preventing skips. It might not seem like it but a 3 minute track is quite long.
I am not trying to hate on realms maps, if they continue to be of this quality i would actually quite enjoy them as I grew up with acceleracers aswell.
