OK, found it in: "C:/Users/%USERNAME%/Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XComGame/Config/XComrobojumperSquadSelect_NullConfig.ini"

Description: "How do I increase my Squad Size? It has a built-in way of choosing the squad size, either via MCM or via the local config file."

But HOW? NO option in .ini files!

I cant select a squad

For some reason my game is crashing when going to the squad seletion screen (after selecting mission on Geoscape). After disabling, it stoped crashing.

Is there a way to fix this so 7 or 8 soldiers show up on the screen at the same time? Or even any of them? At the moment i have the bottom-ish of the screen stuff but no soldiers at all on the screen.

"More information: PCS', Health, Abilities etc." is usefull.Thx for it.But i couldnt extend squad size.There was no mod settings for it.Mod Config Menu is for WOTC.it didnt work for normal version.

Hi, if you would like to see your soldiers stats in the squad select screen (aim, mobility, defense etc...). You MUST download the Mod Config Menu (or edit a file somewhere? maybe?).

Would be nice if this was included in the official description somewhere.

Was there a fix in this mod that allowed me to enable the "switch view" button? I started a test run, beginning with 8 squad members at once, and I can't see the other two in the background and the button won't show up.

question, is there a non WotC version of the Mod Config Menu? Because this mod has a link to the WotC version, just like the WotC version of this mod.

How am I able to bypass the 10 squad size limit? I've seen people have more with the mod, so is it possible or not on the Legacy edition?

This seemed very promising. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. Not once, In my 2 hours effort, I was able to see the switch Perspective button. :(

Increased my squad to 8, couldn't manage before mission, this resolved the problem!

@robojumper The mod stopped working suddenly, it keeps working everywhere but at the selection screen. Could you, pls pls pls, help me with that?

Mod Launcher reports a conflict with Quick Soldier Info as both overrides 'UISquadSelect'. Yet mods work in different game modes - this one on squad selection screen and QSI during battles.
Are they safe to use both at the same time?

Oh I see... I thought it was drag/drop weapons or something.

If keep press and hold your mouse (not on top of UI) and move it sideways then you will scroll the squad (if you have more than 6 slots)

Question: what does the Drag&Drop mean from the third picture? What is dragable/dropable? Thanks :)

@Astral Descend no im talking the FINAL squad size after all upgrades and setting the mods to its current maximum, is there an easy way to increase the maximum to 11? because atm with the mod modifier menu I have it set to the max it can go which is 10 + the 2 squad upgrades in the game to make it 12 atm I was wondering if I can do a quick edit somehow to get me one more I can just do the more squad upgrade sizes mod because from what I read over on that mod it does not work well with this mod and causes crashes

Yes, the squad size you set in this mod is the "base" setting - the one you get on first mission. By default it's 4 and you get 2 upgardes to bump it up to 6. If you set the setting to 6 then you will start with 6 and with 2 upgrades go up to 8

is it possible to make the squad size 11 then + 2 more with the squad upgrades in the game, because I would like to have 13 soldiers dropped down instead of 12 I got the larger dropdown mod to make sure it is not an issue

That isn't a widescreen issue, the Switch View button only appears when you have more than 6 soldiers.

Only delete the config-folder mentioned there through, as the rest wouldn't be needed. And if you use Uniform Manager, make sure to look for a file named similiar to that in there and get that out of that folder first, otherwise you'll have to redo all uniforms. (might be other mods with similiar problems)

Hi Yamino I wanted to tell you thank you for trying to help it, it is very appreciated. I tried an hour ago, and I still cannot change the view. I ran the community again and it didn't find any conflicts left. You brought up a second way was to clear the mods. I have a question how do I do that? And will that get rid of all the mods I use?

Deleting from the directory won't do much, unless you unsubscrbied from the corresponding mod in Steam too(it'll just redownload it otherwise). First off I'd try to use one mod without the other(so, either this here or Ultrawide SS), ideally the one you want to keep more. Through it's likely at this point that the problem lies there, it's still questionable wether or not you might still have to delete your games configs...it'd be safer to do so either way, after deactivating a mod, every time, but it also would mean that any changes therein would be put back to default. A quick google should tell you where exactly to find said configs. (some mods have there own configs too, which should be left alone through, if you don't want them to reset(uniform manager for example))

Hi Yamino, sorry I didn't know about this and ran the app, it did find an issue with my Ultra wide squad select. I have cleaned this mod out of directory.

@Angel Phoenix77: First off, do you use the Community-Launcher for XCom2? It'll show you (potential) conflicts. Knowing wether or not there are any is usaully the first step in that kind of trouble-shooting. The second would likely be clearing configs, if there are indeed no incompatible mods.

First of all I want to say I love this mod. I love having more then 6 units to play with. However, my issue is, I am unable to switch the view to see the entire squad, it is stuck at just the first six. I downloaded the recommended mods to see if they could help, but they have not. I was able too see the entire squad only once. Is there something that I am doing that could be affecting this mod?

I posted the steps required to make this work with LWToolbox as a discusison, in case someone is interested.

Anyway, with robojumper's help I got this working with LW toolbox which fixes that problem
