I think that's pretty much where I stopped my focus tree revision, so yes its expected and no it isn't fine in the sense that it isn't playable.

Not sure how much of it is still playable, if you find something wrong and it turns out to be a quick fix I don't mind fixing it. This is not to say that if one or two guys with knowledge approach me that I can't restart this as a team - time, knowledge and feedback are the only barriers here.

@Turista - I was thinking of re-doing it from scratch once the new DLC was done (PT probably won't have a focus on this one lol) but I don't mind if anyone wants to pick this up and try and do their own thing with it. Doing it solo has been quite hard for me - I even considered pitching this to the other national focus teams.

noticed something a while ago but just haven't had the willpower to come over and mention it, the commanders are still following the old themplate, so they don't get their proper stats in the new version, might want to look into that.

Thanks for even giving me the time. I hope you can find the solution. I don't mod, so I unfortunately don't have any pointers.

It was my first time messing with units and unit templates so I'll take a look at it again...

There are two things wrong about Portugal in Vanilla you should fix.
1st, the portrait of Salazar is much older than he would be in 1936.

2nd, the states are very innacurate, Guarda is ridiculously overpowered and Porto is ridiculously underpowered compared to real life ( This is probably due to the fact that in the game files Porto is named Guarda and Guarda is named Portalegre, whoever was in charge of balancing the game confused them and switched them)

Make the states something like this:
Lisbon - Urban - 3.6M pop
Porto - Sparse Urban - 2,4M pop
Beja - Developed Rural - 800K pop
Guarda - Rural - 300K pop

Just the Cacadores. I can't even click to make an army with them. And those units you start out with, the Policia and the Cacadores, etc., I can't place them in unit templates, meaning I can't improve them.

All of them or just the special units? Because special units have an hardcoded limit in the game.

I can't form armies with the Units you have created. Specifically, the Forca de Cacadores. Also, I can't make any of these special units you have created for the mod. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I would like that to change.

Despite making the same mistake as the base game in considering the nationalist party that denounced Hitler fascist and therefore giving it bonuses with Germany whilst considering Salazar's party, which even held events between the Mocidade Portuguesa and German and Italian equivalents, "non-aligned" and therefore giving it maluses with Germany, this modification is fantastic, great, amazing!

@Bacon, regarding the portrait it's probably because I didn't set any for him. That salazar portrait mod shouldn't cause any trouble. As for the flag, I'll check that out later, I used old stuff from the old version (specially flags) so I don't remember what is and isn't anymore =p

Also, when or if Portugal becomes a kingdom, could the flag change to the Kingdom of Portugal's historic flag?

Just to inquire; is there supposed to be portraits for the Duke and such? No portraits for him seem to appear ingame, and I'm not sure if it might be because I'm running a mod which changes Salazars portrait to a younger version. On another note, the custom infantry divisions don't seem to want to be placed under generals, but if they're deleted and re-formed via training, it works then. Not sure why this is, but it's not Mod breaking.

Updated with new stuff and compatibility with 1.5.1.
Any bug you find please just mention it. All that's left for me to be 90% satisfied will be to complete the descriptions in the Focus tree (some are blank).

I'm not doing too bad in terms of graphics which is why I didn't imediatly set out to look for one. Of course I wouldn't deny considering any good contributions and crediting them if I use them.

I guess I'll look for one once I'm done with this update.

You should have a graphics designer for portraits. I mean, i can say some people if you want.

I won't give up on that idea but it wont happen on the next update for sure.
