You do not need any other DLCs. vw has included all assets in the files.
If it is crashing your pc and not just the game, I cannot help you any further. If it's just the game, you will have to research how to install fresh copy of mod. It could have gotten corrupted. When it re-installs, you must let the installing message finish in the lower right corner of screen before joining anything. Just let pc sit there. If you don't, you will corrupt your own install.

Make sure you are using the correct admin password.

1) type: enablecheats yourpassword

2) Then type: showmyadminmanager

If it doesn't show up, wrong password. If it does, then admin commands should work.
If this is single player, start with 2.

If none of that works, not sure what your issue is.

Same bug as trexkill2002, was just playing normally, until one day I can't launch the map because of the Tribute_Cave crashing the loading screen.

Quite sad, the map was actually fun to play.

after defeating manticore the game gives me black screen and stuck there and its crashing always when loading tribute_cave

The only custom creatures i think is the Hope Vulture and maybe a custom variant of the ice wyvern. If the wyvern is not customized, then i think it was Ragnarok's version. But yeah, nothing you can transfer I don't believe

The map itself is in finished state. vw said he needs only fixing major or minor bugs as they are brought to his attention, but it is fully playable, completed stage and will not change much from here on out.

I think when he gets time, he's only working on Avandra for Ascended

I hope I'm not just being terribly blind- I'm making a list of as many finished or near finished maps for me and my other ASE friends to play on now that most map makers are moving on, I can't see anywhere that lists if this map is completed or near completed, the wiki doesn't appear to say. Regardless it looks beautiful from the pictures, so if it was near complete I'll still likely add it to maps we'll visit when we're done with the current map we're on! Great work! The only thing I wish it had was a separate mod for the creatures so we could take them with us when we're done, but thems the breaks and that's just how it is haha!

Just deleted my saved game data and survivor, Reloaded map and made new survivor went to the cave and I was able to walk back out but there was a very very long pause. Well I guess Ill be looking for a different map to play on because I dont want the same issue again. So Im sure it works just fine for 99.9% of people but Im saying Nope to Hope. I didnt even get to go in the ocean. 40 hours of gameplay isnt a lot compared to the 5K hours Ive played oh well.

I deleted both those files reinstalled the map just now and started the game at my base no issues at that point. Went back to the cave walked in and around the corner then turned around to walk out and it froze my game again. So Ive done everything you suggested I even reinstalled SE ABB GEN 1 GEN 2 EXT FJORDUR and it just wont work. Im probably the ONLY person this has happened to. I can play all the DLC maps no issue ever. so when you walk in the cave a house icon appears on the middle right until the cave renders then the icon goes away and when I walk out of the cave the house icon comes on then goes off then the game gets frozen I never make it out of the cave. Theres a lot of artifacts and materials in there I need so I cant just not use that cave. its the only cave I have been in so who knows if this would happen in another cave? I spent alot of time leveling my survivor was level 110 and I did a lot of taming and building.

If it's just the map re-install and you touch no player files or save games, you will never loose progress. Just be sure you delete folder # 869946022 from workshop location and the ark mods folder

I was able to download my good survivor and spawn in my base on the surface. I went to the AB cave again just to see and it let me in I only walked in about 10 foundations then turned around to leave and guess what??? game froze again... So its that cave over and over and over causing the issue. Im out of options now I will reinstall the map I hope I dont lose my base and progress

All files verified, video driver up to date still same this. I have to hard reboot my comp to quit the game when it freezes and Ive never had that issue in 5K hours of ARK. I ran other maps and no issues at all, same deal feels like the movie Groundhog Day. I keep loading in the Rock Drake nest everytime with my Bulbdog floating in the air above me. Once I even put down a Tek Transmitter uploaded my body and made a new one but as soon as I chose a spawn location bamm! Froze again.... So far I have about 4 hours into trying to figure this issue out. What now???

I am playing single player, I can go all over the AB cave no problem I just cant leave out the exit, teleport or by death. Im verifying files and I updated my video driver so we will see. What will happen to my base, tames and character if I reinstall the map?

Try to verify your game files yet?

And reinstalling the map mod is easy and won't affect progress if you remove both locations off single player and/or server. I have a Hope server up currently and do not have that issue

Hello, I downloaded the map and Ive played about 30 hours my base in on the main part. I found the AB cave about a few hours ago and it freezes up everytime I try to leave and ARK stops working. Ive tried to die so I could respawn at my bed that doesnt work. Ive tried teleporting back to my base that didnt work either. I tried to even no clip and NOPE! I have a nice PC and have 5K hours playing ARK and Ive never seen this issue before. So now Im stuck in the dang cave.... what do I do now??? If you tell me I have to reinstall the map I will not be happy and its not any of my mods like I said Ive never seen this issue.

@dyrex2000 I doubt it at the moment the file size is a pain to work around for cross play etc it has to be 5GB and i used a lot of custom assets.

I am not ruling it out.

Although i am making a map in ASA that's yet to be released.

@Austin_Legend Thank you for your input. The spawns can be tweaked to your liking using Simple Spawners mod or what ever mod is the latest version of that kinda thing.

Plants are sparse, well i personally think the island has to many.. :)

Map is kinda unleveled with spawns and even plants are sparse. Its not a bad map, wish it was a little bigger. Its certainly different though

Could someone post in the discussions how to install/use this map FOR DUMMIES please? do i just install the mod? do i need to set the map in the ini? does it mod a specific map or do i just install the mod and get on with it?

pretty good level, however if a player flies too high they end up dying. the map needs the blocking dome to prevent players from going to high.

You can save your steam profile and the saveworld and ini files. Just copy them to another drive or flash drive, Google or One Drives

@Chief i already tried validating my files, i'll probably just reinstall ark, but will it delete my singleplayer world?

@ScottHN i know that but it just randomly took 100 gigabytes of my space while reinstalling hope and the other mods, but then those 100 gbs just came back.

@Ducky: Unfortunately, 100GB is not unusual; ARK is notoriously a space hog, i.e., my ARK folder is almost 300GB!

retried it, still doesn't work. it always gets the fatal error crash when tribute_cave comes up. i've tried deleting it and many other files just to try to get rid of the error.

Then wait for all the downloading to complete. Then when you open game, MUST wait for installing mods message to disappear from lower right corner

Just for future reference, delete all numbered mod folders in the workshop location except 111111111 if you have it. Do not delete map name folders. This will force Steam to download every mod you're subscribed to. It will just take longer to download for those without great internet. If you have great internet, then won't be an issue. I only put this mod's id in parenthesis if it was suspect mod. Otherwise, if a mod updated and then you had issues, insert that mod id for deletion. You may have to also remove same number folder from:

\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods

I used to always delete suspect mod from both locations. But since Steam revised something in their process, removing the workshop location alone seemed to override the Ark location as well upon opening game and overwrote it with new copy

Could also try validating Ark files
