Well it looks cool and we cant judge the judge here since they are the one who is picking items. I honestly think like items need to be fit in concept of Rust, which is worn out, used, looks like crafted by materials around the world or at least unique. Well they are the one who puts easy camo skins or something with "army" in it to game :D so that cant be helped..

Also i dont get why dont you add some worn out effects to item aswell, to fabric or metal it might be lot better in my opinion. Anyway this item cant be changed since its ingame already.
