@GasMaster - Thanks for the comment, I honestly have no idea it was a Mod I made in 2017 and later lost my project files for all my mods in a single hard drive failure, sucks but it was the end of my modding for Ark

Hi SailingJester77 unfortunately the PC with all my ark projects on got fried so I lost the ability to work on them more, some work still others don't, sorry for the inconvenience if any of them no longer work.

@SirT, it will depend on how the server owner sets it up, they can indeed be added to the spawns list on the server so that they spawn wild but I don't add them into my mod as this could end up causing conflicts with spawn lists admins can have already set up

i've noticed there is no description of howthe mod actually works : i know i need " berrynectar" to craft the ant minions and the other things but i have no idea of how to get said " berrynectar"

Only the one writing the mod can know the correct filename path for the blueprints / cheat codes guppyexpress, look up some tutorials or google search is really the only way for you to resolve, hopefully just a minor issue for you, good luck

No problem on the delay guppyexpress had alot going in real life myself, for your snail to spawn you will need the directory path leading to the blueprint of your created dino, followed by the dino bluepring name (twice) seperate by a "." period, for example:
admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/BattleAnt/FireAnt/FireAnt_Character_BP.FireAnt_Character_BP'" 500 0 0 35
In my dino example the bluepring of my dino is "FireAnt_Character_BP" so the ending of the summon command is "FireAnt_Character_BP.FireAnt_Character_BP" and the directory folder path leading to where the dino is "/Game/Mods/BattleAnt/FireAnt/"

Yours would look like:-
admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'[YOUR DIRECTORY PATH][DINO BP NAME].[DINO BP NAME AGAIN]"

Make sure to have all required ' " and . as in my example in the correct place and just replace the text in [ ] brackets with your own directory path and dino BP name.

Just remember to have the character blueprint of your dino at the end of the folder path twice with a . period/fullstop between them.

Most welcome good to hear they are working now and as for them spawning you can add them as a % chance of spawning in one of the existing spawngroups such as beavers (or other dinos), theres some good youtube videos out there on getting them spawning and maps showing where specific spawngroups are most common, between the two you have a pretty good chance deciding the rarity and location.

so far it works well i just cant test it in the dev kit it takes too long to get in it to test. but on the animated model it works,the snail is scaled larger, and itdid not crash once whle uploading it

Hey johnbamford17, yeah they do sound cool, if he manages to resolve the issue i'd definitely give them a go, snail races would be a fun way to spend time ingame, i've recently been working hard on a project that has been nothing but headaches all the way, a pimped out mini dragon, tiny bit smaller than a pteranodon but pimped out with some nice features, narcotic bombs, skin changes, mode changes and more :D

Did you add new features to the snails ? Did you make any changes ? Was there the random runtime crash dev kit seems to have, that can actually lose and reroll saved data, or did you maybe change something else in the spawning, it's hard to know what to advise, looking at your fatal error "shootergame\private\primalstructureitemcontainer.cpp:284" I would myself assume it to either be an issue with a container in the map, maybe I had removed a mod that had modded storage while still having that item existing in my map, or likewise a dino could be a container, it has its inventory. Have you tried wiping the map or is it the map is fine without your snail mod running ? If that is the case is there an error with the dino inventory component ?

Unfortunately I don't know what the errors mean, does it run okay in the dev kit ? if so try upload a fresh version incase something got corrupted, if it doesnt work in the dev kit too, you might have to backtrack your steps. I did see a fairly decent thread on reddit for modding advice for ark, the guys there seemed quite helpful to those needing advice, they may know the errors better than me, do you know when the errors happened ?

Hi guppyexpress. Does it work inside the devkit ? Do you have the primalgamedata, level and testmode all setup inside the root of the mod folder ? Do you have the world settings when you open the level in the root folder set to the mods primalgamedata file ? Any of those could affect it working in the livetesting.

The ants' hunger doesn't lower yet for taming purposes. If you find them in the wild/spawn them in without a potion, you'll probably need to use DoTame or ForceTame if you want to own them.
