Working Infiltrator Sneaksuits (Vanilla AND LW2 compatible)

@ZERO..

This was validated with LW2 (in principle, similar to "LWotoc" as well) way back in 2017 while considering the spawn process of custom "armors" as defined by *OUR* templates (MrShadow could explain in details).
If another mod interferes with activation of any suits, it has nothing to do with Vanilla or NOT! There are provisions already within the uc script(s) to hook Armors at common default assets when necessary.

Nothing stops users from just trying a quick install to verify.
Unsubscribe as you wish - i recommend the AML loader that can easily detect conflicts.

I don't think so, as it is a vanilla mod .. the linked cosmetic only version -might- work though
ZEROASSASSIN3 May 8, 2023 @ 5:53pm
will it work for lwotoc?
ObelixDk  [author] Dec 14, 2021 @ 1:39am
since they are actual armors then yes you should be able to use them with other skins.. might have to install a mod to enable that though
killiankrieger Dec 13, 2021 @ 2:00pm
Is it possible to use Infiltration Suite but with other cosmetic skins?
aNyyMORE Aug 25, 2021 @ 1:41pm
oh these suits look nice, hopefully we will see wotc version soon :)
Kollja01 Aug 5, 2021 @ 9:23am
thx for this mod, i like long war xcom 2 playing with this.
Mizuki 水城 泰士 Sep 3, 2020 @ 2:58am
Still no WoTC?
CaptSternn Jul 1, 2020 @ 1:48am
wtb actual Bebop mods thnx =[
MrShadow  [author] Mar 4, 2020 @ 4:17pm
thats because these have not been updated to use WOTCs new shaders. All textures from X2 to X2WOTC got new shaders.
reallyhairydave Mar 4, 2020 @ 3:34am
So something I found, when the soldier's are wearing the armour I can manually change their customisation to the sneaksuit models, only the non shaded variants work (the shaded ones have no texture) but it's odd it doesn't automatically assign them like it used to.
reallyhairydave Feb 29, 2020 @ 3:06am
Yeah, I know it was a long shot but the stats appear to be working. I had a quick try to edit an ini and move files over from the WOTC cosmetic version but it didn't work. My trouble is I'm a bit clueless when it comes to anything outside of ini edits
ObelixDk  [author] Feb 29, 2020 @ 12:52am
well to be honest this one was never made compatible with WotC.. will try and give it a check to see what needs to be done to make it compatible..
reallyhairydave Feb 29, 2020 @ 12:18am
So they appear the same as standard armour although I suspect they will look like the previously equipped one
ObelixDk  [author] Feb 28, 2020 @ 11:50pm
do you mean there´s no visual on the armors when you equip them or?
reallyhairydave Feb 28, 2020 @ 11:11pm
So surprisingly this mod works mechanically for LWOTC Beta 2 with the exception of cosmetics. I have the WOTC cosmetic only version and was wondering if there were any simple edits I could make to inis and copy/renaming files to bring the full functionality back (as they look amazing)
w7r_ Sep 16, 2018 @ 6:15pm
how to use other armors with this mod? @obelixdk
mastress Sep 10, 2018 @ 5:45pm
hi! Any chance for WOTC?
Dzūkian Mushroom Crusade Aug 1, 2018 @ 10:05pm
The detection range is broken, at least in Long War 2. It is the same regardless of whether you wear the sneaksuit or kevlar armour.
Marcus Oct 26, 2017 @ 1:39pm
the siuts can be made and work regarding the extra mobility and dodge vales, as dose the graple - BUT the detection range of the suits dose not work.Have tried difrent vales, but there is no change in the game when a new mission is stated.
ObelixDk  [author] Sep 1, 2017 @ 4:25am
this one is not compatible (yet) but i put up a the cosmetic version that is compatible
Daminotaur Sep 1, 2017 @ 3:09am
Hi. Is your mod compatible with WoTC? Thanks.
Lux Manifestus Aug 20, 2017 @ 10:48pm
I'm being given two options to built tier 1 Infiltrator suits: one that is 30 supplies w/ red piping and one that is 80 supplies and grey. Is this a bug ?
The Insane Hatter Jul 18, 2017 @ 7:46pm
I appreciate. Hope things get less crazy for you soon =)

Also, again, awesome mod man. Congratz.
ObelixDk  [author] Jul 18, 2017 @ 5:48pm
i guess i could enable that when i get some free time.. real life is crazy at the moment so no ETA for the time being
The Insane Hatter Jul 18, 2017 @ 7:11am
I love your suits, but I wish I could use other props besides the ones you provided with it (besides helmets).

Thanks for the awesome mod anyway =)
MrShadow  [author] Jul 7, 2017 @ 4:51am
We try
ObelixDk  [author] Jul 6, 2017 @ 11:35pm
you are welcome :)
DrDeusMD Jul 6, 2017 @ 9:15pm
Thank you for being active and communicating to your audience. No questions here, just praise.
MrShadow  [author] Jun 26, 2017 @ 7:42pm
@RainingMetal. Ill ty and explain that a bit better. Ok. In order to unlock the Infiltratot tech you need to research Alien Bio Tech.

So if you research Alien Bio Tech AND THAN Infiltrator Tech NEXT, youll unlock the ability to start building Mk1 suits.

NOW. In order to unlock the Mk2 upgrade option youll need Alien Bio Tech, Infiltrator Tech and then Hybrid Materials IN THAT ORDER. BUT... lets say you Go and research Alien Bio Tech and THAN Hybrid Materials next and THAN decide to research the Infiltrator Tech. Youll then have unlocked the prereq Techs for both the Mk1 and Mk2 at the same time. Make Sense? But YOULL STILL have to build a Mk1 to then upgrade it to a Mk2.
ObelixDk  [author] Jun 26, 2017 @ 7:31pm
there are no squad upgrades.. its individual suits.. you can read all about all the suits in the description above.
RainingMetal Jun 26, 2017 @ 7:30pm
That seems like standard fare for suit upgrades (akin to that of the Alien Hunters' skins). However, there seems to be an option to buy a more expensive tier 1 suit that doesn't really do anything.

Unless you mean to say that if I buy multiple individual suits, those Squad Upgrade tier purchases automatically upgrade all purchased infiltration suits? Though that still wouldn't explain why there's a tier 1 option for it.
ObelixDk  [author] Jun 26, 2017 @ 7:16pm
Because of the way you did your research.. if you have done some other research first before opening up for the initial suit research you will have the option to make tier1 and 2, but tier 2 cant be made without a tier 1..

Hope that makes sense
RainingMetal Jun 26, 2017 @ 7:11pm
Makes sense. However, that doesn't explain why there are two options for building the suit initially.
MrShadow  [author] Jun 24, 2017 @ 7:44am
These are ONLY individual builds. You have to build a Mk1 suit first. If you want to upgrade to a Mk2 suit you'll need a Mk1 suit to upgrade to a Mk2. If you want to build a mk3 later you'll need a Mk2 suit to do so. So each tier of suit requirers the previous suit.
RainingMetal Jun 24, 2017 @ 6:38am
I'm not sure that I understand. Was the other option designed so that it acts like a tier-based armor that can be equipped by all allies? I purchased both options but couldn't access the suit unless I bought the individual version.
Milf-Hunter Jun 24, 2017 @ 6:26am
its fixxed now thanks! all working
ObelixDk  [author] Jun 24, 2017 @ 2:29am
Yes if you read the description there is actually an explanation for that
RainingMetal Jun 23, 2017 @ 9:00pm
When I go to the "Build Items" section in Engineering, I see two sets of Infiltrator Suits for purchase. One is more expensive than the other, but I can only equip the "cheaper" version of it.
MrShadow  [author] May 18, 2017 @ 10:50am
@GOD EMPEROR... did this happen after you patched to LW 1.3?
Milf-Hunter May 18, 2017 @ 9:10am
something happened? suits just disapeared from inventory
Element UK May 8, 2017 @ 3:09am
k,ty
ObelixDk  [author] May 8, 2017 @ 3:09am
when you equip the armor and go into the probs section you will see each part has 2 versions :)

Look at demo video for more examples :)
Element UK May 8, 2017 @ 3:07am
Only ever saw that for the 'asassins hood' mod
ObelixDk  [author] May 8, 2017 @ 3:05am
have you tried the version that says "tintable" in the loadout? ;)
Element UK May 8, 2017 @ 3:04am
Hence it being a shame to use white when trying to be sneaky...in anything but snow ) No bubble burst btw
ObelixDk  [author] May 8, 2017 @ 3:04am
@Element UK hate to burst your bubble, but each tier is using the same model and textures and each tier have 2 versions.. 1 you can tint and one you can not :)

only diversion to the tiers are the grabbling where all i did was add the mesh to it
Element UK May 8, 2017 @ 12:13am
Great mod, just a shame you can't alter the colours. IE: the 1st tier is a better colour than the next two imo
ObelixDk  [author] Apr 8, 2017 @ 1:04am
@boisegangpc our armor is designed very different than normal armors.. each armor you craft is "unique" and since you need 1 lower tier for the next tier then what you are requesting is not possible.. sorry
Boisegangpc Apr 7, 2017 @ 1:43pm
Hey, guys! It's me again. Do you know if you could add a configurable .ini file similar to your other mods where we can adjust some of the stuff to our preference? I'd like to have the base suit be infinite once the Infiltrator tech is used(I use the Finite Armory mod), but I can't seem to find a way to make an item infinite once a certain tech is researched.
