Haven't played HOI4 in a long time, MD in even longer.

This mod was finished, but with the merge of MD and other modern mods I haven't checked compatibility so it probably doesn't work. If I get a free weekend I'll look into how much work it'll take to update.

However, a light tank battalion still costs 500 manpower, so adding UCGVs would be weird.

For the most advanced light tank, put it as Uran-9

1.5.2 is out now and I've just tried it yesterday, seems like still doesn't work. I renamed it and remade every single localisation file, but didn't really work.
But one thing I figured out is that if I directly change the .yml file and overwrite it, the names change correctly.

Hope they will release a new patch fixing this problem asap.

Yeah the last devblog I remember reading about how you should list dependancies, but I'd already done that in the .mod file. So I retried it, renamed it, removed it... nothing works.

I haven't looked into it for a month, I don't know if 1.5.2 is out yet or not. I hope it's not MD restructuring file paths which I slightly suspect, because I can't figure out what they've done in that case.

Seems like I have the same problem. I made a mod changing the images of each equipment for Korea, and it worked fine before they released new patch, but now as you mentioned it seems like the patch prevents overwritting the original localisation files. Graphic arts are fine, they are loaded well but the names are not loaded and it just shows like gen.1 or gen.2

Honestly I enjoyed doing it, but I can't find the motivation to mod a game I don't play much any more. Ukraine would be cool though because I do like the T-64 family.

Looks like it might be a problem with the latest HoI4 patch preventing submods overwriting other mods, the game tries to read both at the same time. The game will still play fine, but graphics wont be lining up with the names of vehicles is all.

My Australian one was, Ted showed no interest in any of my other work, so my motivation to keep working on a NATO counterpart withered.

Maybe I'll play a game and try and recapture the fun.

Please this is the best equipment mod... I really do not get why it is not incorporated in the main mod already

No Russian localisation, feel free to try it yourself!

I decided against the PT-76, opting for vehicles that matched the decade the game says they were released. The earliest date being 1955 makes the PT-76 older than the scope of Millennium Dawn (It began mass manufacture in 1951).

PT-76 is the better choice for early light tank IMO
