Forgive me, but if you're not the creator of it all, then who should I write to, who is the creator of Dynamic Mission Generator? @Bashly

@Katona, Mod Selector doesn't have any control over how the Mission Generator deals with its functionality - it only provides the easy way for that mod to present itself in the game. You'll need to chat with the makers of the Dynamic Mission Generator for that I'm afraid!

@Bashly, Hey Bash, I'm having some problems with this mod and I'm hoping you can help, since the overview video is 'unavailable'. I'm essentially having the same problem as Ademro: I can create a profile, but in my profile it shows 0 mods, even though I've installed some.

In VR, the tablet spawns inbetween free play and bombs. It also does not collide with the table and world and falls through, even after being picked up and dropped. I am using the bomb maker mod.

This has been rebuilt for the new version of KTaNE coming up. If you're having problems at time of this message being posted, either switch to the current Public Beta on Steam, or wait for the new version to drop.

Aaaand it's stopped again. It's so weird that it's intermittent - I don't know if it's due to subscribing to new mods (which I've done a bit of this morning?). Again, the tablet appears in the set-up room but I can't select it. At the moment, it doesn't even highlight when I hover over it, though sometimes it does. I've tried the usual stuff closing and reopening Steam to no avail. Can you talk me through how to access a log file (bearing in mind I'm on a Mac). Thanks.

Not sure what I'm doing, but the Mod Selector Tablet was working last night and now it's not. It's there when I load the game and select "Enable Mods" but it won't let me select it on the set-up room.

I've tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the mod; restarting the Mac (Macbook Pro, 2015 Retina edition if that's relevant) and disable and re-enabling mods to no avail. Any help?

Im using the HTC Vive and for some reason I can't select anything on the tablet. I can pick it up but im not able to do anything like go into the tabs and stuff!

Whenever I try to use this mod, I bring up the tablet on the table. And can create/delete/edit profile. But when I go to edit the profile, it says that its 0/0 on all the settings. When I click on any of the edits, there is nothing in them.

@NOCH2, I'm aware of that issue. I've tried to bring the mod selector up towards the camera as close as I can so that the UI is still somewhat useable. If I push the tablet back, it'll solve that issue you mention, but then the UI *might* become slightly too small for those running in low resolutions. It's a compromise of larger UI vs. a small near z-plane cut of the model.

I believe that other holdables have a mechanism of pushing the object back as they get rotated, to avoid this issue. If I can find out how that is added to the holdable, I'll try adding that to the mod selector tablet as well.

let me explain, when you point the angle of the tablet to the camera it diappears like there was a model barrier

@Bashly: Is your code on github or something similar? I would love to have a way to disable more vanilla mods since I am using translations mostly. I'd be happy to see if I can make that work with your mod. Seems more reasonable then creating a separate mod from scratch.

It also does this in windowed, which I figured it would do so...

But in order to fix the selection, what I need to do if I wanna interact with something after I touch the Mod Selector, I need to ALT+TAB back out, and into the game.

@Bashly I have a couple things I need help with: 1) Every time I load a profile, I can't select the binder, or anything in the main office whatsoever. (Playing in Fullscreen) I don't know what caused this. 2) Is there a way you can delete a profile? I'm trying that to I can maybe see if that fixes the problem.

@Meow it is indeed; I was just referring to the fact that bomb casings, widgets & game rooms are essentially treated in the same vein when generating a bomb.

Btw, latest update of mod selector can now achieve the enabling/disabling of bomb casings, game rooms & widgets.

@Bunsen, do you have any of the other mods installed from the workshop? This mod doesn't interact with the Steam Workshop directly, so you have to install them for the selector to see it in the first place.

Hey there just installed this mod and still new to the workshop.

When i open the UI on the top right it only shows a single module instead of the whole list.
Do you have any idea how to fix that? would love to remove certain modules from free play.

@Kaitsuh, I haven't really looked into the enable/disable of 'vanilla' modules. It's on my list of things to properly investigate, but is currently fairly low down on that list.

@An_on, I definitely agree that it should appear somewhere in the world environment. That just requires a bit of time to do :)

@Hazzard, is the prompt in the top-right appearing when you're in the setup room? If so, if you click it (or press 'X' button on gamepad), does it show the grid? If so, can you interact with the grid? If so, can you press the apply button to close the grid and return to the setup room? (I just need a bit more information to work out what's exactly going wrong for you).

Is it possible to extend this mod to remove specific main modules? I'm looking for a method to remove the morse module for example, and would be great to get some more control over which main game modules show up as well.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out where the above screen (mod selector /deselector) screen is accessible... help? PS. I played this game last weekend with my GF... wow.... this is truly a unique and fantastic game! And now that I've bumped into mods to increase the diversity of the game... WOW, just WOW! Hi @Hatsune Miku, yeah I'm well aware of that issue. Essentially what's happening is that the mouse input is being processed both by the overlay UI *and* the game environment at the same time (in the game environment, clicking near the edge of the screen allows you to pan the camera around, to give you an idea of your environment when in non-VR mode).

I'll need to see if I can add some sort of mouse block if it is to remain like this.

Also, the gamepad issue you mention is sort of what I was expecting. By clicking by mouse on one of the buttons, you are giving that button the active focus, meaning that the gamepad input now has a rough idea of where a gamepad axis change could take you. Without any selection to begin with, gamepad does nothing.

Anyway, it's all things I'd like to support better in the future, just need to put some actual time into this mod, rather than the couple of hours I spent as an experiment up-to this far :)

@rexkix It wasn't working for me a little bit after I sent the message but I managed to figure out how it kind of work for now. I found out if you clicked on a mod (to select/deselect it) with your mouse THEN use your controller, you can use up/down on the analog stick to move along the list and select/deselect with X (on Xbox) or Square (on PS) on your controller.

However, it only recognizes the up/down input from your analog and not your D-Pad, if you're more used to using your D-Pad in the first place.

Also just going to let you know (in case you were wondering) the Controller works fine. You can select/deselect mods, but you can't see what you're actually selecting because nothing "highlights" the selected module.

Finally!! I was hoping someone would make this! The only problem I have with it is that the camera moves when you deselect the top most module. Doesn't annoy me yet, but there's probably an easy way around it for other people who might find it irritating.
