It's probably me, but: I changed an asset slightly (underground metro station tracks instead of underground train tracks), saved it under a different name, but when I used it in the game it turned out I can't connect metrotracks to the station metrotracks I added in the asset. Did I do anything wrong when saving the asset? Did I forget to address a certain application before saving the asset? Do I have to apply a certain action before saving it? Thanks in advance for answering.

Can I also ask... Does this mod reveal any spawn points and paths for Financial district DLC? I don't seem to be able to get any for the building templates..

I get plenty of NullReference exceptions when trying to use spawn points recently.
Or when trying to make any changes in asset editor when this mod is active.
Is it incompatible with something?

@Jean Michel - pedestrian paths marker (pink path) isn't from this mod. It's from [More Network Stuff], perhaps you just got confused there.
I actually still have this in my setup in all my recent asset creation process, will have to look into it if it's really broken by latest update.

Compatibility Report is saying this is broken and to uninstall. I'm having difficulties opening the editor once I enabled this mod.

Can someone confirm if this mod is working with the latest edition of CL? Is there something I'm supposed to do other than subscribe and enable this, before I can use the new editor?

Is it possible with this mod to make an asset building that has road all around it to align with the separate road you place down?...i made a church/graveyard with one way road all around( the front portion doesn't have that one way road) and want to connect it to a normal road so that cars that want to use graveyard can go in the back..hence why one road...If someone knows..please respond.

I'm trying to edit a vanilla asset - specifically the volley ball park - to make it a smaller 2x2 version without the parking lots or picnic tables, and I keep getting all of the error messages below. I tried editing other assets - vanilla and user - to see if it still happens, and I constantly get these messages, especially the one about the prop line tool, but anarchy is not even enabled...

Also, when I use the editor to make it a 2x2, the part of the asset outside of the reduced area does not disappear, it still stays. How do I get every part outside of the new 2x2 grid to disappear? THank you in advance!

@Tingstead which spawn points are you trying to adjust or add?
Some you can change with this Mod,
I have found others require using the Spawn Point Editor to move them.

And yes, the 3rd error message is a correct true statement, not changeable via this mod.

@ctcatuga 2 truck drop offs are not supported by Cargo Station AI
@[OG]CombatMedic02 I didn't test it recently but I guess I at least need to add support for the new stuff added by Airports DLC

Does this mod still work? I was hoping to use it to fix the spawn points on my Small Park Maintenance mod but I don't see the markers? The Clear Spawn Points button doesn't seem to do anything and when I try to place one of the vehicle spawn points it tells me that I can't place any more points of this type.

I had the same problem as Yamaryl. I was trying to make 2 cargo truck drop off locations into the cargo station, but only 1 drop off locations is able to be saved. This was a while ago and I gave up thinking it was something I was doing but thought I would share my issue after seeing a similar problem.

I currently try to make a custom cargo train station, but infortunately truck spawn/despawn positions are not saved. When I reload my asset these point position are set to 0*0*0. Any idea ?

Ahh, also needs "More Network Stuff" and "Prefab Hook" and then the Cargo paths show up under decorations. Now tp figure out tweaking them.
There is this great Double Track Cargo Station where the Trains outgun the Trucks.

so...do i just place tracks, and props down, and hope that all the tracks i add will be used (at the same time) by incoming/outgoing trains? where's the documentation on how to use the "Advanced Building Editor"?? Yes, I need to use the asset editor. I see these spawn point position and target, but...what to do with those? do i plop those down at either ends of the tracks? if so, why don't i see markers on the existing track provided with the template. i am so confused right now.

Good to see that you're still working on the mod!
However, I think that a documentation would be very helpful. I'm struggling with a very simple cargo station design, which always end up with trucks stuck in some zigzag trajectory, mysteriously sinking underground, ignoring spawn/despawn points, trains spawning in regular tracks instead of cargo tracks, behaviour changing when you connect other nearby tracks... a whole havoc which is hard to assess with pure trial-and-error (specially considering the loading time that each trial has...). Understanding how those things should work would be a great help!

Fixed: Now pedestrian paths, ferry paths & cargo connections are made editable too
Fixed: Spawn target is placed with an offset from spawn point when doing auto-placement

well i tried diferent ways and i cant made a custom station i cant built tracks or something out of the limit. someone tried? the option of "make all elements editable" seems not work properly. if someone know how made custom station in asset editor will be great :). i think not my problem but if somoene can try will be helpfull.

well i tried a lot of things and nothing. Its like "make all segmentes edit" doesnt work. Someone that can build a custom station could tell me how?, because i can't all tracks i use are deleted when i save it. if soomeone could tell me other mods (i think there isn't) will be nice. Thanks. or even if the mod work for you tell me and try to disable all my mods again. Thanks.

@Brandon : I just saw your underground and is very nice. Perhaps you can ask those who mad a lot of vehicle (bus, train, metro, subway, bus...) as i.e. REVO, CRISGAMES, SVENBERLIN....
For the other thing, I do not know.

Trying to get this work with new SH helicopter stops, but when selecting "auto spawn points", it removes them. Even when adding two spawn/target point combos, it still only connects the line in game to where the spawn point was in the original built-in asset. Ideas?

i saw people asking about spawns points(@Angelhearth), i have the same questions, if someone can tell me where find this information could be nice. i spent a lot of time creating and trying, leave edit, try again... and difdnt get perfomance my stations. Help please and thank you.

I wasn't able to add those either, to a commercial building. I was able to add some "cargo connection" points, but this made the game completely refuse to load the building (I couldn't even edit it). So, don't do that!

Hey buddy! :) I hope you are fine with your job and life here in germany!

I finally found some time to create stuff again and I got a kind of request:

The last time I looked into the asset editor (using this mod ofc) I discovered that there is just one type of entrance available for buildings.
I know that the stadiums from the stadium DLC have two additional types here: "entrance only" and "exit only".

I'm currently working on an airport which will have in best case the exit on the lower portion and the entrance on the upper portion (so one road at +9m and one at ground level) - so these kind of triggers/spawn points/props would be great for this case!

Maybe you could take a look at it when you find some spare time ;)
