@Yossarian It does looks like it's a bug indeed. The Channel strait is quite complicated as it is 3 sea provinces wide in game. I did the best I could but I still don't understand why the game won't reroute comecial convoys.

@pyrignis - Thanks for the reply, that's good news. I gave the mod a quick test as Germany yesterday, and I noticed a few things:

Before the war, I can see my trade routes going through the Channel as expected (importing resources from North and South America for example). But when I go to war with the Allies, my trade routes that were going through the Channel disappear (I can't see the dotted lines on the map), but my convoys continue to travel through the Channel, because I get notifications of them being sunk in the Channel. Is this possibly a bug? I sort of expected that the trade routes would start going around Northern England once I'm at war with England. Cancelling trade and then restarting it with the Americas also didn't change anything - the convoys still go through the Channel strait instead of going around England into the North Sea, and there's still no dotted line representing the route they're taking

@yossarian No, this mod only modify naval movements, just like it does for the Gibraltar strait.
@=яενєηąŋŧ= The 1.4.x patch added a few provinces which means I have to redo my map modifications. I should get it done this week but no promises.

@pyrignis - I just discovered this mod now. I really like the idea of the Dover Strait blocking navies. But does this allow you to move your land units over the strait? ie. like a bridge between England and France?

Yeah. it's a bit sad the AI has trouble to pick up the implications of the changes. However, no land forteresses should be able to prevent subs from frossing the channel, so fo now I had to make this call. Good of you if you where able to change the mod's inner working to your preferences!

Cool mod. Thank you for your work. Although I modified the English Channel a bit for my own use. My stupid admiral Dönitz keeps sending his damaged subs back home to Kiel through the English Channel, getting them all murdered. So I made it block fleets and subs when both sides are enemy held.

@Earthtomars: they are multiples straints between even the smallest islands that are around 35km wide. But I appologise, I hadn't taken them into account when I first looked at it. However the only reason I added the dover strait was du to the strenght of the naval artillery present on both sides. If I had a way to condition the rules to naval fort strenght, I would probably add it but as it is, I don't think it's really needed (and furthermore I don't think it would have a very strong impact on gameplay).

@pyrighis the bass strait i agree but the timor strait has loads of tiny islands so you might have to rethink of you strait list as tiny islands can help the country block many routes.

@Earthtomars: the Bass strait is 200km wide and the Torres strait is 150km wide. Theses can't be blocaded fromp shore with WW2 artillery.
For the Cook strait however, I should take a look at it, yes!

Now something strange is happening in game version e1.3.a
There are red lines across indonesia to meditarenean see - similar to thise break lines between land in straits. Beside that, we crushed few times in MP but it can be coused by other mods, idk.
It would be welcomed if you could just quick update @pyrignis. Regards.

For now it is difficult to Strait added, so was only Japanese localization.
In the future, new Strait will continue to add. In addition, Regards may ask that the mod!

offset is used to properly place the icon on the map. The middle value is height and should be kept at 0.

Ok, most of the strait you mention would require to redraw the naval borders. This can be done but I'm not sure it would change the gameplay enought to be worth the effort (Although my mod is oriented around the need for japan to break through indonesia).
If you have time and you want to do it, just add me on steam and I'll try to help you mod this (central european time).

North of the Strait can be limited to trade and ships of the Soviet Union. This is because can be advantageous to the fighting in the Sea of Okhotsk.

Hōyo Strait is prevented from landing in the harbor, such as Hiroshima. Seto Inland Sea is because it is a lifeline for Japan.
Tokyo is the capital of Japan.
If the Strait (fortress) is not it would have been lost easily Tokyo.

Maritime fortress is present in Uraga Channel. So I want you to add the strait.
