Sorry, that bug was on Stardust UI
林一二 May 13 @ 9:32am
Would you support lua sandboxing? When opening a container:

```
[00:14:08.131] [Error] Exception while creating lua context for scripts '["/sys/metagui/core.lua"]': (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/sys/metagui/core.lua"]:12: attempt to concatenate a nil value (field 'rootPath')
stack traceback:
```

it's also apparently been fixed on OSB's end in current git (by making their fix to a specific bit of vanilla brokenness my functionality relies on optional)
GrimWolf Feb 27 @ 4:54am
It's OK, it's not top priority as their is a workaround I found.

That will make the quickbar scrolling work again.
Zia Satazaki  [author] Feb 26 @ 12:26pm
right, I need to get around to accepting a PR and pushing a new release out
GrimWolf Feb 26 @ 6:01am
I'm also using OpenStarbound and having the same scrolling issue with the quickbar. Although I only just installed oBS and didn't have the issue before installing oBS.

Mouse wheel scrolling down in quickbar doesn't seem to work at all, however scrolling up does. I'm using OpenStarbound if this makes a difference. I also don't see any errors at all in the log.

eh, I think that one's firmly in the realm of whatever adds the "rage" effect; my code only shows up because it hooks into the vanilla code that applies status effects.

Is there a way to remove certain icons from the quickbar? Some things add too much useless stuff I feel clogs it and makes it more difficult to use
Kade Dec 29, 2024 @ 4:55pm
@Captainrocket77 Both mods are compatible with Stardust Core. On their mod pages, they recommend or state compatibility with StardustLib, which was the former name of Stardust Core.
Zia Satazaki  [author] Dec 25, 2024 @ 9:55am
entirely depends if they've updated to support the quickbar (just a quick check within the patch and a copy *of* the patch); most such mods that I know of have done so by now but it's not a guarantee.
Captainrocket77 Dec 21, 2024 @ 3:52pm
Hoi there! I know you said that “Manipulated UI” was specifically incompatible with this, but does that also apply to “Enhanced Matter Manipulator” and “Matter Manipulator Manipulator”? I know nothing about coding, but they look like they all perform a similar function…
ErickD Dec 18, 2024 @ 4:55am
@Zia Satazaki i noticed that Navigation panel got modified.are there conflict with mod that modify it ?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Dec 17, 2024 @ 4:56pm
lite is literally just for vanilla server compatibility; a dedicated server doesn't need *either* unless you're using a mod that requires the full version.
ErickD Dec 16, 2024 @ 8:32pm
@Zia Satazaki which you prefer for the better performance ?im hosting a Linux dedicated server. Lite or this one ?
HasNoMicrophone Sep 4, 2024 @ 12:47pm
Ah, ok - thank you - just wanted to check if I could disable options.
Zia Satazaki  [author] Sep 4, 2024 @ 12:40pm
that's entirely determined by what you have installed.
HasNoMicrophone Sep 1, 2024 @ 9:19pm
I might be missing something but I can't seem to find any way to control what actually shows up in the quickbar - is there supposed to be one?
nyozzl Aug 26, 2024 @ 6:04am
when i open the quick bar.. pieces of the matter manipulator ui are scattered there
Skidoo Skidee Aug 24, 2024 @ 7:04pm
Mod randomly stopped working in the middle of a playthrough. No clue what caused it or why it would have happened, because it went from working to not working WHILE I was playing the game.
Zia Satazaki  [author] Aug 2, 2024 @ 1:37pm
already fixed in latest git, but life's been a thing lately and I haven't been able to put a full release together yet
strelok.max Jul 30, 2024 @ 7:35am
Thanx alot for the mod!
But please tell us, is there any chance to get high-resolution problem (not clickable buttons) fixed?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Jun 6, 2024 @ 11:46pm
think I heard that that was patch project? not sure though
Ewok116 Jun 6, 2024 @ 11:30pm
just searchin for a mod that changes the settings UI or more like limits it cause i have a problem that my settings menu is cropped of at the top and doesnt show me the Openstarbound features
Zia Satazaki  [author] Jun 4, 2024 @ 2:50pm
upcoming version has OSB-only features; are you having some issue with the release version?
Ewok116 Jun 1, 2024 @ 11:42am
is this mod incompatible with Openstarbound ?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Apr 21, 2024 @ 5:38pm
post.pak is also required; it exists because you can't have a single pak contain pieces at different load orders
Alz3mGam3r Apr 20, 2024 @ 8:23pm
* post.pak
Alz3mGam3r Apr 20, 2024 @ 8:16pm
how do i install this on my single player world? i know what to do with the contents.pak but what bout the post.pal????????
Mysterious Stranger Feb 4, 2024 @ 10:24pm
Quickbar menu is not opening, and still opens the MM menu. Manipulated UI is not installed, are any other incompatabilities known?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Nov 30, 2023 @ 12:33pm
costume system is literally just a set of cosmetic armor; you can just take the pieces off
drederique Nov 29, 2023 @ 9:43am
how do we remove the costume
Zia Satazaki  [author] Nov 16, 2023 @ 10:19am
suit?
FideMeister Nov 14, 2023 @ 10:59pm
How do I get the suit off?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Oct 25, 2023 @ 3:57pm
there's a well-established modded server that uses full-fat Stardust Core (as well as StarTech) on a Linux-hosted dedicated server; you just can't safely mix and match between having it on client and not having it on the server or vice versa
Newk Oct 22, 2023 @ 11:21am
@SteelNorthman: thanx for the warning! Lite version it is then
SteelNorthman Oct 3, 2023 @ 10:06am
Stardust Core breaks Linux based dedicated servers, preventing players from being able to join.
Stardust Lite doesn't break Linux servers.
Ffisher Oct 2, 2023 @ 2:12pm
Please disregard the below - it appears to be some other conflict
Ffisher Oct 2, 2023 @ 1:44pm
I can't seem to find the button to access collections anymore with this enabled. Is this intentional?
archivist Oct 1, 2023 @ 11:33am
Is there any way to make the UI themes apply across all the entire UI instead of just the Stardust-added ones?
Zia Satazaki  [author] Aug 16, 2023 @ 6:36pm
hmm. well, haven't seen anything that fiddles with MetaGUI to that extent as of yet
Kate Hanami Aug 16, 2023 @ 11:02am
not gonna lie, I dunno, it was one of those "reading reddit comment" mivdoes with starbound gameplay on the background, I have no way of knowing, and no, it wasn't terraria because the person playing beam up from that menu
Zia Satazaki  [author] Aug 16, 2023 @ 9:54am
can you point me to one of said videos? this is news to me
Kate Hanami Aug 15, 2023 @ 11:11pm
yeah, I wanna know too!
definitively the stardust lib's quickmenu
only in a radial menu
Zia Satazaki  [author] Aug 15, 2023 @ 6:38pm
radial menu??
Kate Hanami Aug 14, 2023 @ 5:56pm
how do I enable the radial menu I see in some videos? it's a bit hard to see in the corner with my large screemzx
Hydee Aug 1, 2023 @ 8:40pm
How does one remove costume?
Blackjack May 20, 2023 @ 10:47pm
Yeah, I've no clue why it would happen either, unfortunately. All I know is that with Core, it breaks the altered armor scaling, whereas Lite leaves it intact and working. Swapping between the two provides a consistent result, so I've no idea what to do about that beyond just use Lite for now. lol
